Chapter 340 It Has to Be You
Natalie didn't budge. "What do you want?"
"You know what I want," Adrian sneered. "Drugging me, Natalie? Is that your plan?"
"No, Adrian, I have no idea what you're talking about!" she shot back.
"Come here. I won't say it again!" Adrian snapped and hung up.
Natalie stood there, the cold wind hitting her face. She bit her lip, and after a moment, she started walking.
As soon as the car door opened, a hand yanked her inside. She landed hard on the seat, her back aching. Adrian loomed over her, his body heat and breath close. Her fingers clenched; before he could kiss her, she blurted, "Three hundred thousand dollars!"
Adrian's eyes mocked her.
The streetlights outside cast a dim glow, their shadows mingling. Natalie felt Adrian's relentless demands and panted softly, disgusted with herself.
She hated herself right then.
She was saying things she didn't mean and doing things she didn't want to do.
But she had once genuinely liked Adrian, even dreamed of a future with him.
"React to me. Three hundred thousand dollars, I don't want to buy a mute!" Adrian gripped her chin, his voice low and mocking.
Natalie bit her lip, then moaned. She looked into his cold eyes and suddenly wanted to give in. She wrapped her arms around his shoulders and, when he kissed her, she responded instead of resisting.
Adrian was surprised.
Her initiative brought a complex emotion to his eyes. He wrapped his arms around her waist, flipped her over, and let her sit on his lap. He breathed heavily. "I'll add another hundred thousand dollars, Natalie. You know what I want?"
Her long hair fell beside her cheeks, the golden strands adding a touch of beauty. There was a fire in Adrian's eyes, ready to consume them both.
Natalie kissed his face, nose, lips, and Adam's apple.
Adrian squinted, his hands clenched into fists, his voice tight and hoarse. "Natalie, tell me why you refused me."
One kiss from Natalie ignited all of Adrian's desires. Her proactive kiss was more effective than any aphrodisiac.
Natalie looked at him. "You want a lover. With your money, cars, and villas, you can have any woman you want."
Adrian gripped her wrist tightly. "What if I say it has to be you?"
Natalie's eyes trembled. She lowered her gaze, kissing his Adam's apple. Her hair brushed his cheek, and Adrian inhaled her scent, feeling even more excited. He flipped her over, kissing her fiercely until she was breathless and dazed. Only then did he let her go.
He took a few deep breaths, his fingers brushing her lips. "No other woman catches my eye but you."
"What about Alice?" Natalie said, self-mockingly. "Did you say the same to her when you do this with her?" Her eyelashes fluttered, feeling incredibly ironic. "Adrian, don't you find it ridiculous?"
Adrian looked at her delicate face, seemingly stunned for a moment, then said, "I never said that to her, nor did I do this with her."
Natalie found it hard to believe.
