Chapter 330 You Really Don't Deserve Her

Someone immediately stood up. "James works under my supervisor."

Hearing his supervisor's voice, James stepped forward to greet him.

"James, why are you with Mr. Murphy?" his supervisor asked.

Jasmine turned pale, looking at Daniel in sportswear. Did he really know James' supervisor? She felt faint, but James supported her. "Mom!"

Rosalie looked at Daniel, then at Natalie. "Natalie, is he your friend?"

Natalie didn't expect Daniel to be so bold but wanted Jasmine to learn a lesson. "Yes, he's my friend. We went to the same university."

Daniel looked at James but spoke to Jasmine, "You two aren't a good match. But it's you who aren't good enough for Natalie, got it?"

Jasmine took a deep breath, holding onto a chair. "I'm sorry, it's our fault, Mr. Murphy. Please don't be angry."

Natalie whispered to Rosalie, "Mom, let's go."

Rosaliedidn't want to stay any longer. Sierra had praised the guy. Hoping Natalie would find a boyfriend soon, Rosalie brought her for a blind date, but she never expected this outcome. "Alright, let's go."

Natalie glanced at Sierra. "Mrs. Harrison, we're leaving."

Daniel watched Natalie leave and turned to follow, but Jasmine grabbed his sleeve. "Mr. Murphy, it's my fault. Please don't blame my son. He's worked hard for this job for two years."

James, embarrassed, said, "Mom, that's enough!"

Sierra saw Daniel frowning and quickly grabbed Jasmine's hand, repeatedly apologizing to Daniel. "Mr. Murphy, please don't be mad at us."

Daniel wasn't petty. He thought, 'What do they think I am?'

"Don't worry, I'm not that petty," he said, then left.

Jasmine was extremely regretful. "James, it's my fault."

This caused quite a commotion in the usually quiet bookstore. People were coming and going, borrowing books, and glancing over. James felt ashamed and awkwardly said, "Alright, Mom, let's go."

Natalie and Rosalie were waiting for a car. "Mom, you go home first. I'll head straight to the Imperial Nightclub."

"Alright," Rosalie said, patting Natalie's hand. "It's my fault. I shouldn't have listened to Sierra. That man looks fine but is so snobbish! And Jasmine, who does she think she is?"

"Mom, there are all kinds of people in this world. We don't need to get upset over every little thing. Don't take it to heart." Natalie had come just to go through the motions and didn't really intend to interact with the other party. As soon as she saw James, she knew they weren't suitable.

"Next time, I'll make sure to find out more before bringing you along. I have another suitable candidate, about your age, just graduated from college and looking for a job. He looks pretty good too." Rosalie said, taking out her phone to find the information to show Natalie.
