Chapter 1022 A Heart-to-Heart Between Mother and Son
Cassidy gave a nervous smile.
Meanwhile, Natalie was chilling in the lounge, chatting with Rachel and some of her friends.
Rachel asked, "Natalie, are you really the owner here?"
"Yep," Natalie nodded.
Chloe chimed in, "So, can we come here often?"
"Of course," Natalie replied.
"The coffee plantation, the sycamore grove, and the rose garden here are all super famous. There are also a bunch of themed banquet halls that are perfect for afternoon tea. But this place is so mysterious; there are hardly any photos of it. The more mysterious a place is, the more people want to visit."
That was why Blue Moon Lake had the highest commercial value, even though it wasn't the top-ranked estate.
Rachel said, "Then I'll put on some gorgeous makeup and come here for photos tomorrow."
"Rachel and I have known each other since we were kids. By the way, you know my sister too. The clothes you're wearing are from the brand she started," Chloe said.
"Your sister is Rebecca?" Natalie asked.
"Yep, I'm Chloe."
Natalie looked at Chloe, who was very pretty, with a delicate and refined beauty. Chloe had almond-shaped eyes and cherry lips, with a slightly baby-faced chin. Yvonne's face was very cute, full of collagen.
Heather and Yancy were in the lounge on the first floor.
"Did my mom give you a hard time?" Yancy asked.
Heather shook her head, "No."
"That's good." Lately, Cassidy had been setting him up with several socialites. He had made it very clear that he didn't want to run the Reynolds Group, nor did he want a commercial marriage with any socialite. He only liked Heather.
But Cassidy was a strong-willed person.
Heather said, "Don't get mad at your mom because of me." Their relationship was already strained, and Heather didn't want to make things worse between Yancy and Cassidy because of her. "I actually understand your mom. Any parent would want their son to marry a gentle, well-bred girl from a good family. I really can't match you."
"Heather, don't think like that!" Yancy tightly held her hand.
"Okay," Heather said, shaking her head to clear those sad thoughts.
When the birthday party ended, Yancy didn't leave with Heather.
Cassidy wanted to talk to him, and he had something to say to her too.
In the banquet hall, the waiters were cleaning up, and Marshall was doing an inventory with Miguel, checking if any chairs were damaged or if any expensive decorations were missing.
In the lounge, Cassidy spoke earnestly, "Yancy, you should know that everything I do is for your own good, to ensure you have a bright future. What can Heather bring you? Do you know her background? She's just a manager in the entertainment industry. Your future wife should be a dignified and well-bred lady."
"I hope you won't interfere in my personal life anymore," Yancy said.
"I am your mother. You are going to inherit the Reynolds Group in the future. Yancy, everything I arrange is for your future. I will never harm you!" Cassidy said self-righteously.
