Adrian's face was as cold as frost, with his emotions still hidden in his eyes.
Footsteps sounded from outside.
Donte walked in.
He took a few steps forward, "Grandpa."
Ruben nodded lightly.
Donte smiled and greeted everyone politely.

Donte's gaze fell on the chessboard and then on the woman holding the white pieces.
This woman was Natalie.
He had seen her a few times.
She left a deep impression.
This Natalie was not simple.
"Natalie, long time no see. This is a gift I prepared for you."
With that, Donte handed over the velvet box in his hand.
Natalie opened it to find a pair of diamond earrings.
She instinctively glanced at Adrian.
Donte said, "These are the latest design from Royal Jewels Company. You should try them."
Natalie thanked him.
Andrea tightly gripped the velvet box in her hand. Hers were pearls, while Natalie's were diamonds.
Why was Andrea always treated differently no matter where she went?
Donte's gaze subtly swept over Natalie's face.
Natalie seemed to sense someone was observing her.

Ruben put down his piece, "Natalie, your chess skills are indeed impressive."
Natalie smiled, "Thank you, Ruben."
Joe suggested, "Alright, everyone, let's go to the dining room for dinner."
Ruben stood up and looked at Donte, "Donte, from now on, you and Adrian, as brothers, must work together and support each other."
Donte nodded, "Understood."
After all, Ruben had spoken.
