Chapter 536 Traces

[I feel ya. In just a few hours, everyone’s all over Alice, singing her praises. Are people really that blind? And calling Alice beautiful? Come on, don’t insult our eyes like that.]

[Yeah, I saw that too.]

Some folks online caught on.

[Natalie's Facebook post doesn’t have a single punctuation mark. It’s so obvious someone else wrote it for her. Natalie always uses punctuation in her posts!]

[Totally. Dynamic Entertainment is part of the Howard Group, and Alice is Adrian’s fiancée. Natalie works for Dynamic Entertainment Media. It’s clear as day that Natalie’s been threatened!]

[Dynamic Entertainment’s bullying of their artists is way too obvious. It’s disgusting. Alice is seriously shameless.]

[I noticed it too! Poor Natalie must’ve been threatened.]

Under Natalie’s latest Facebook post, even though she said she and Alice were tight, most people weren’t buying it.

The comments were as followed.

[Hang in there, Natalie. We know Dynamic Entertainment is threatening you.]

[Go Natalie! Don’t give in.]

[We got your back, Natalie. If you’re in trouble, just let us fans know.]

Some folks also commented.

[Anyone else notice that Natalie and Alice kinda look alike? Like they could be sisters.]

[Yeah, I saw that too. Their features are super similar, but their vibes are different. Is Natalie really not a Cullen?]

Someone threw that out there casually, but it spread like wildfire.

Avery was scrolling through Facebook and saw that comment. She started wondering if Natalie could really be Curtis and Rosalie’s kid.

If that was true, she’d be in serious danger.

She’d always had her suspicions.

But when Rosalie showed the DNA test results of Natalie and Stanley, Avery felt relieved. Now, her doubts were creeping back. Could Rosalie have swapped the DNA results? No way, she had to check it out herself.

Could Rosalie have tricked her?

A week later, it seemed like the whole thing had blown over.

Natalie wasn’t dwelling on it anymore. She was about to join the cast for Oscar’s movie.

Heather said, "The nanny we hired to take care of Mrs. Teeger said Mrs. Teeger hasn’t been in good spirits lately."

Natalie was practicing her lines. She was gonna join the cast for a script reading in three days. Hearing this, she paused, her eyes lowered, and her voice calm. "Don’t tell me about her stuff anymore. If she’s sick, take her to the hospital. I’ll cover the medical bills."

Heather surveyed Natalie’s face and nodded. "Got it."

Natalie practiced her lines for a bit longer. She had plans in the afternoon, so she stood up and told Heather, "If there’s anything that needs filming, schedule it all for tomorrow and the day after. Once I join the cast, cancel all the ads and magazine shoots." She didn’t want any distractions while filming.

Heather replied, "Understood."

In the afternoon, Natalie went to the cemetery.

She brought a bunch of white roses.

"Dad, I’m here to see you." Natalie placed the flowers down, set her bag aside, pulled out a handkerchief, and started wiping the dust off the tombstone.
