Chapter 1048 Unexpected Incident at the Wedding
Alice's eyes locked onto a table loaded with fancy pastries. She grabbed a fruit knife and made a beeline for Natalie, her mind racing, 'Natalie, there's no way I'm letting you marry Adrian. If I can't have him, neither can you. Let's go down together! You've stolen everything! My family, the one person I cared about... It's all yours now. Let's just end this!"
Natalie was oblivious to the whole thing.
Suddenly, someone yelled, "Natalie, watch out!"
Chaos erupted, with screams and panic filling the air.
Natalie spun around just in time to see Alice charging at her with the knife. She tried to dodge, but it was too late.
A shiver ran down Natalie's spine.
Alice's knife, glinting coldly, was just a few feet away.
Adrian's eyes widened. "Natalie!!"
He wanted to rush over, but it was too late.
Out of nowhere, a hand grabbed the knife. Daniel stood in front of Natalie, and a few others tackled Alice, pinning her to the ground.
Alice struggled and laughed like a maniac, "Natalie, why won't you just die! I want to kill you! I want to kill you, Natalie!"
Daniel's right hand was bleeding, blood dripping everywhere.
Natalie grabbed his hand, worried, "Are you okay?"
Daniel looked at her, only relaxing when he saw she was fine.
That was way too close.
Adrian rushed over. "Natalie, are you okay?"
He was scared out of his mind. Now, he held Natalie's hand tightly, his fingers cold, finally calming down.
Natalie shook her head. "I'm fine, Daniel saved me."
Seeing Daniel's injured hand, blood still flowing, Adrian shouted, "Get a doctor over here, quick."
Blue Moon Lake had a family doctor on standby.
Jagger stepped in, "I'll take care of it."
"Daniel, are you okay?" Melissa and the others rushed over, Melissa's face full of worry. Seeing Daniel's hand, she was terrified.
Daniel shook his head. "Mom, I'm fine, don't worry."
Luckily, Daniel was close enough to stop Natalie from getting hurt.
Melissa turned to the restrained Alice, "Alice! How could you!"
Ruben, leaning on his cane, looked furious. "This is outrageous!"
Alice seemed completely unhinged, "Natalie, I must kill you! We'll go to hell together!"
"You won't die a good death, Natalie!" she screamed hysterically.
People couldn't help but sigh. Alice, once Adrian's fiancée and the daughter of the Cullens, was now reduced to this.
Natalie's eyes widened in horror as she looked at Alice. She never thought she'd be the target of an attack, let alone at her own wedding. She always knew Alice was spiteful, but now she saw just how far gone she was.
Meanwhile, Jagger was bandaging Daniel's wound, "The cut's pretty bad. I've stopped the bleeding, but you need to get to a hospital ASAP. If the nerves are damaged, you might need surgery."
