Chapter 1201 Planting Cherry Blossom Trees
She wouldn't let such a small matter cause any unpleasantness with Andrea.
Although Andrea was hostile towards her now, and she couldn't fully accept Andrea either, she could still maintain a facade. She would be more mindful in her interactions with Andrea in the future.
Even if it was Andrea's fault, Andrea could never be the bad person in Adrian's heart. The current amnesiac Adrian was willing to trust her, but he felt deep guilt towards Andrea. If there were any future conflicts with Andrea, Natalie couldn't guarantee that Adrian would still believe her.
"I will try my best to get along with Andrea."
"When she gets out of the hospital, she won't come back to Sky Villa. She'll go live with Jamie at the Lawson mansion."
Natalie's eyelashes fluttered. Not coming back?
That might be for the best; not seeing each other would reduce friction.
She was also tired of dealing with someone as scheming as Andrea.
As she walked forward, Natalie saw several servants busy in the garden, removing the blooming, charming red roses. "Why are all these roses being removed?"
The servants saw the two of them approaching.
"Mr. Howard, Mrs. Howard."
Adrian said, "I had them removed."
"You? Why? Didn't you like it here?" Natalie was a bit surprised. Wasn't this a place filled with beautiful memories for Adrian and Andrea?
"What kind of flowers do you like?" Adrian didn't answer her but instead asked a question.
Natalie thought for a moment. "Me? I like cherry blossoms."
Adrian instructed, "Did you hear that? Clear this area and plant a cherry blossom tree as she requested."
"Yes, Mr. Howard."
A servant glanced at Natalie. "Mrs. Howard, I'm not sure what variety of cherry blossom tree you like. I'll go to the market tomorrow to check. The cherry blossom trees suitable for this season aren't very large, so it should be planted within a week."
Natalie nodded.
She looked at Adrian. "Why plant a cherry blossom tree? The roses were beautiful too."
Adrian looked at Natalie. "Do you really think the roses were beautiful?"
"Didn't you say you and Andrea planted them together? After so many years, they must hold a lot of memories. Can you really bear to remove them?" Natalie said.
"I like cherry blossoms because there was a big cherry blossom tree at my home. I grew up with it. Later, when I moved away from the Cullen mansion, that cherry blossom tree was cut down. It was a pity; it had grown so strong."
"If you like cherry blossoms, then we'll plant one here." Adrian thought, no wonder he always sensed a faint fragrance around her. It must be the subtle scent of cherry blossoms, lingering in his dreams countless times.
"Thank you." Natalie thought for a moment. "Adrian."
Natalie and Adrian walked towards the villa.
For some reason, today, the Howard garden felt especially large. They walked for several minutes and still hadn't reached the villa.
