Chapter 579 You Are a Good Person
Yancy blurted out, "Anna, has anyone ever told you not to rush a guy?"
Heather was caught off guard. She glanced at Yancy. "Nope, you're the first."
Yancy was momentarily thrown off, too. Honestly, the first time he hung out with Heather, he could tell she was pretty old-school. Yancy grinned, flashing his pearly whites. "Alright, remember, I'm your first."
"Then hurry up, I really gotta get to work later," Heather said, dead serious.
Yancy couldn't help but chuckle. He thought Heather wouldn't show up last night, but surprisingly, she rolled in at midnight. Yancy scooped her up. "So, how can I help you?"
Yancy was really at a loss with Heather. Even in such a close moment, she was all business, which was kinda cute.
Heather wasn't wearing her glasses. Under the bathroom light, her skin had this creamy glow, her face was delicate, and her eyes were bright. Yancy leaned in and kissed her eyes. Heather flinched. "You've got a beard."
Yancy said, "I'll shave next time, cool?"
Heather asked, "Do you know any hackers who are really good?"
"What do you think of my skills?" Yancy teased, shifting his position.
Heather frowned and let out a muffled groan, "I'm talking serious stuff. Don't mess around like this. I..." Heather suddenly bit her lip, stfiling a moan, her eyes tearing up from Yancy's bold motion.
Half an hour later, they left the bathroom.
Heather was fully dressed.
Yancy wrapped a towel around himself and opened his laptop. "I was serious, too. I can handle this. It's easy. Don't worry. it can't be traced."
Yancy had majored in computer science in college.
He was a pro at this stuff.
Yancy sent the unblurred photos to the email address Heather gave him.
Heather said, "It's that simple."
Yancy nodded. "Yep, that simple. Don't worry, they can't trace the IP of this email, even if they hire a top hacker."
"Thanks, Yancy," Heather said with a smile.
Yancy sat in his chair, looking at Heather. "I'm curious, are you really that good to your entertainer? You came to me to find Frank for her, and now you're here again for a video." Yancy joked. "Do you have some dirt on her?"
Heather shook her head, her eyelashes lowered. "Natalie has been really good to me. When I was at my lowest, she helped me. Natalie's the best person to me besides my mom."
Yancy asked, "You really are easily moved. So, what do you think of me? Am I not good enough to you?"
Heather was packing her things. She walked to the door with her bag, her fingers gripping the doorknob. Hearing the voice behind her, Heather paused. "I'm not a frivolous person. You've been good to me, so I'm willing to come. Yancy, I think you're a good person, too."
Yancy had just asked a casual question and was stunned by such a serious and sincere answer from Heather.
Heather had been gone for several minutes when Yancy snapped out of his trance.
Yancy took a pack of cigarettes from the table, bit one, lit it, and took a few deep puffs.
He exhaled a heavy wisp of smoke and smiled.
Yancy's words echoed in his mind.
