Chapter 589 Causing Trouble

Starting with Leander was a long shot, especially since he was cropped out of the pic, making it tough for anyone to track him down.

The Winthrop Family had mad clout, and Carlos, just a butler's kid from the Howard family, couldn't hold a candle to them.

The only play was to start with Frank.

Shutting Frank up for good would squash this whole mess.

Frankie promised, "Alright, I'll bring Frank in two days."

As soon as Carlos bounced, Frankie huddled up with a few of his crew.

Kent asked, "Mr. Santoro, what's the deal? Who was that dude? Why's everyone hunting for Frank?"

Lately, a bunch of folks had been bugging Kent about Frank's whereabouts.

Frankie replied, "He's not someone we wanna mess with."

Kent, being a total wuss, said, "Then I'll just spill the beans about Frank."

After all, his neck was on the line.

Kent had no clue that doing one favor for Yancy would snowball into this much drama.

Frankie waved him off. "Alright, scram. Stay outta this mess."

Kent walked out of the Imperial Nightclub, spat on the ground, and grumbled about not even getting a drink.

He hopped into the car, and his lackey started driving. "Mr. King, we heading back to play poker?"

Kent said, "Nah, not feeling it. Let's hit up Blue Bar. Tonight, I'm gonna teach Yancy a lesson."

Yancy had stirred up way too much trouble for him.

Kent needed to blow off some steam.

The lackey nodded and drove off.

Blue Bar only started to clear out around 5 AM.

The staff were mopping the floors and tidying up the private rooms.

The front desk had stopped taking guests.

Right then, a few big dudes in black strolled into Blue Bar.

The receptionist said, "Sorry, we're closed."

But these guys were dead set on getting a private room to drink.

This was a bar, after all, and it wasn't open during the day.

The receptionist had no choice. "We really aren't taking guests. It's already daytime."

A few staff members came over, trying to block the guys.

Suddenly, one of the dudes in black started cussing and slapped one of the staff. "Closed? What a joke. Get 'em!"

It was just an excuse. Then all hell broke loose.

Tables and chairs got kicked over, and bottles at the bar shattered everywhere.

The floor was a mess of glass shards.

Julian, who was working on the first floor, came up. "Yancy, there's trouble downstairs."

Yancy was about to crash, having just taken a shower. He quickly threw on some clothes, his hair still dripping, covering his sharp features. "What did you say? Who are they?"

Julian replied, "I dunno. They look like thugs, and they're pretty nasty. Our guys can't handle them. Looks like they came here on purpose to stir up trouble."

Yancy narrowed his eyes, water dripping from his hair. "Great, it's been a while since anyone had the guts to mess with us."

The two of them headed downstairs.

Yancy took one look at the chaos. "Who are these clowns?"

The leader of the group glanced at Yancy, stepping on an employee and kicking him, making the guy cry out in pain.

Yancy frowned and hurried down. "Anything that comes my way. These are just employees. Let them go."
