Chapter 250 You Know What to Do
The woman's face flushed with embarrassment as she realized Adrian wasn't interested. His icy demeanor made her uneasy, so she reluctantly moved on to find other patrons.
The bartender came over. "Sir, your drink."
Adrian asked, "Is there someone named Frank Harris here?"
"Frank? He's by the booth. Wait here, I'll get him." The bartender, noticing Adrian's distinguished look, didn't dare to ignore him.
Five minutes later, the bartender returned with a young man with dyed yellow hair.
"Frank, this gentleman is looking for you," the bartender said.
"Do you need something from me?" Frank glanced at Adrian. He didn't recognize Adrian, but Adrian didn't look ordinary.
"Do you know the woman in this photo?" Adrian showed a picture.
"Natalie?" Frank said. "She used to come here a lot, even during her classes. We all know her; we've hung out together."
Frank's words had a hidden meaning.
A cold light flashed in Adrian's eyes. "You hung out together?"
Frank said, "Oh yeah. Natalie's been with quite a few guys. She's pretty open about it. There've even been times when it was just the three of us. Don't let her innocent looks fool you—she's quite wild in bed…"
With each word, Adrian's face grew gloomier, and his fingers clenched into a fist.
"Are you sure?" Adrian's eyes were steely, their danger masked by the dim bar lighting.
Frank, with a cigarette in his mouth, said, "Absolutely. We've hooked up multiple times. Not just me—one of my buddies has been with her too. She's got that sweet look, but a lot of guys get fooled by it. There's even a hospital record. She had to go because things got too intense—she was out of commission for two days. The records would definitely show it's her."
After Adrian left, Frank immediately took out his phone and went to a quiet corner of the bar. "I said everything as you told me. We agreed, right? I say what you want, and you give me a hundred thousand dollars."
Alice said, "Alright, I'll see you tomorrow."
Frank replied, "Okay, dear, see you tomorrow~"
A man with a cigarette walked over. "Frank, what are you up to, being all secretive?"
Frank said, "Just calling my woman, what's it to you?"
The man asked, "Who was that guy just now? He didn't look easy to deal with. The watch on his wrist looked expensive."
"How would I know?" Frank lit another cigarette. "Tomorrow, when I have the money, I'll take you to a high-end club."
The man said happily, "Oh, thanks. Why are you being so generous?"
The next morning, Alice dressed up neatly. She had something to handle personally; otherwise, she wouldn't be at ease.
She had Renee handle her discharge paperwork and get a lot of medication to fake a near-miscarriage.
That evening, she took a cab to Blue Bar.
After getting out, she immediately called Frank.
She had slept with a few men before and had been photographed. She spent a fortune buying up those photos, but she was afraid Adrian would find out the source. So she framed Natalie with those photos, spending a lot to make it look like the photos were of Natalie.
After all, Natalie looked similar enough that no one would easily spot the difference.
However, the photos were either of the back or side profiles, and Frank's half-face was in them.
Alice walked into the bar, adjusted her sunglasses, and waited for Frank in a corner.
A passing waiter looked at Alice, wondering why she was wearing sunglasses at night in the bar.
