Chapter 906 A Similar Taste

Conrad shook his head, "You really gave it away as a gift, Vivienne. That property was mine."

Vivienne just laughed.

Conrad went on, "I guess you used my idea. So, what do we have left for Natalie?"

Saul chimed in, "Yeah, this has really been bugging Conrad and me."

Natalie glanced at Lauchelle, who gave her a nod to accept the property.

Natalie smiled, "Thanks, Aunt Vivienne."

Kamille was pretty happy too, even though she was surprised Lauchelle had made Natalie her goddaughter. She quickly said, "So, you're my sister now. Our old bet doesn't count anymore."

Natalie rested her chin on her hand. "I don't mind."

Kamille shook her head. "No, I mean it. As my sister, I can grant you tons of wishes! I promised you one before, but now that you're my sister, I gotta promise you more. Whatever you want, even if it's a person, I'll help you. You're an actress, right? Whatever resources you need, I got you. Any movie you wanna make, I'll invest in it."

Kamille was so sincere that Natalie felt a bit moved. Kamille's eyes showed she really saw her as a sister.

Natalie grinned, "Thanks, Kamille."

Saul jumped in, "When it comes to the entertainment industry, I know more than anyone here. Natalie's new movie 'The Nameless Road' has made over $2.5 billion at the box office. It's doing great. She'll get even better opportunities. Plus, Natalie is now with Dynamic Entertainment, one of the top talent agencies."

Kamille didn't know much about the local entertainment scene. She looked at Saul. "Is it better than your film company?"

Saul smiled, "It's different. My company mainly produces and distributes movies and TV shows; we don't have contracted actors. We have more film resources. Dynamic Entertainment, where Natalie is, specializes in managing signed artists and has a lot of them. It's a subsidiary of the Howard Group."

With that, Kamille got it.

At the mention of the Howard Group, Kamille asked, "Is that Adrian's company?"

Rebecca nodded, "Yep, it's his."

Kamille, the eldest daughter of the Cross family, nodded and genuinely admired, "Adrian is really impressive."

At noon, Lauchelle had a few more drinks before heading to the lounge for a nap.

Natalie also went to the lounge.

Lauchelle smiled, "Your dessert is amazing. Who taught you?"

"When I was little, I stayed at my grandma's house. There was a shop nearby that sold pastries. The owner was really beautiful and often brought some to our house. She was very kind to my grandma; they were neighbors. My grandma learned to make pastries, and then I learned from her," Natalie replied.

"Where is she? What's her name?" Lauchelle's eyes sparkled, thinking the taste was too familiar.

Natalie saw Lauchelle's excited expression. "I always called her Verity Webb. This was when I was little. My hometown is in Silvervale Town. Later, there was an earthquake in Silvervale Town, and I moved to Vachilit. In my memory, Verity was a very gentle and kind person. The pastries she made were almost always sold out the same day because they were so delicious."
