Chapter 900 Utter Disappointment

"Alright," Avery said.

Karen had visited Alice in jail and was now completely disappointed in her.

It seemed like there wouldn't be any more collaboration between Alice and Dynamic Entertainment.

With an actress like Alice, even if she became the future hostess of the Howard family, pissing off all the brands would make it tough for her to get any gigs.

Plus, Karen had already found a new actress to sign, someone way more talented than Alice.

Natalie had also heard about Alice's arrest. She was lounging on the couch, reading a script after breakfast.

Natalie was about to join a production for a few days to return a favor.

Matthew had personally reached out to her. Natalie glanced at the script; it had only a few lines and scenes, but the story was super compelling, so she accepted it and planned to leave this afternoon.

Natalie checked the news.

Actually, Natalie had known since yesterday that Alice and Sandra had gotten into a fight at the banquet hall. She didn't know Sandra had gotten disfigured backstage, but seeing Sandra's tearful video with her face all bandaged up, it looked like she was seriously hurt.

Marshall had called Natalie, filling her in on what happened last night.

They had taken stock of the tableware and decorations in the banquet hall.

Sure enough, two crystal glasses were missing. Crystal glasses weren't exactly luxury items, only costing a few thousand dollars.

Logically, the socialites who came here, even if they were just tagging along with someone who had an invite, wouldn't swipe two crystal glasses.

After all, for socialites, a few thousand dollars was just the cost of a hair treatment or a facial.

Marshall suspected it was probably one of the waitstaff with bad intentions. But he hadn't figured out who took them yet.

However, Marshall did find out who arranged for the waiteress to spill champagne on Natalie and Kamille.

Natalie frowned slightly, "You mean, Diana set it up?"

"Yeah, that waiteress is an employee named Yasmin from the Platinum Haven Hotel. This time, because they were short-staffed for the banquet, Ainsley brought her in. She's now being held in the lounge and has already confessed that it was a socialite with wavy chestnut hair who was with Alice that hired her. The socialite gave her a bracelet worth tens of thousands of dollars, and she agreed. After all, a waiteress accidentally spilling a glass of champagne isn't a big deal. As long as she apologizes sincerely, she can get away with it. Plus, the banquet was being live-streamed, and most socialites wouldn't lose their temper in public, as it would make them look petty."

After Marshall finished speaking, he asked, "So how should we handle Yasmin?"

Marshall had gotten to know Natalie over this period and knew she was a gentle person, so he thought she might let it go.

But to his surprise, Natalie's calm voice came through the receiver. "Call the police. My dress has wine stains that can be cleaned, but the color of the fabric has been affected by the alcohol. This dress is expensive, so it needs to be handled by the police. If Yasmin is willing to reveal who instructed her, the compensation will be significantly reduced."

"I understand." Marshall nodded immediately and followed her instructions. He hadn't expected that, despite her gentle appearance, Natalie was very decisive.

"Is Lauchelle still at the estate?" Natalie asked.

"Yes," Marshall replied.

"Alright, tell Lauchelle I'll be there shortly."

"Okay, Lauchelle said he looks forward to Ms. Teeger's arrival."

After hanging up the phone, Marshall let out a long sigh.

He went to the lounge on the first floor, where Yasmin was sitting. She hadn't been punished; there was even breakfast on the table.
