Based on what the waitress said about the lady's looks and vibe, Yancy figured it had to be Cassidy.
When the waitress mentioned Cassidy was meeting a young woman who was pretty and had a killer figure, Yancy instantly knew it was Heather.
Yancy knew Cassidy well; she was sharp and ruthless.
Cassidy meeting Heather could only mean one thing: she wanted Heather out of Yancy's life.
Cassidy got pissed off because of that phone call, feeling more guilt than love towards Yancy.

Because of this, Xavier ignored Cassidy.
Cassidy was Xavier's second wife.
But the marriage bond was still there, even though they grew distant.
Xavier had another family on the side, and Cassidy didn't care. She was secretly building her own network. From that point on, Cassidy wanted to take over the Reynolds Group completely and believed whatever Austin and Nicholas had, her son should have too!
Cassidy owed Yancy a lot. But everything she did was for Yancy's good.

Plus, even if he gets his memory back later, by then, he'll have followed your plan and might even be married to a good wife you pick for him. Once he's married, even if he remembers Heather, it won't matter anymore."
