Chapter 1234 The Secret That Disappeared in the Garden

Andrea was trembling.

She knew she couldn't escape, so she quickly turned and ran to her room, locking the door behind her.

At that moment, she hadn't yet relaxed when she heard the sound of the lock turning.

Oh no! Nathaniel had a key.

Andrea was terrified.

There were only two people in the house, and no one could save her.

The door was opened, her clothes were torn off, and a whip struck her back. The seemingly kind elder was now a bloodthirsty wolf.

Andrea finally understood what Delphine and Jamie had felt.

Humiliation!

Hatred!

Endurance!

Dare not resist!

She could only pray for time to pass quickly, pray for Nathaniel to calm down soon!

She could only pray for him to die!

Suddenly, Andrea mustered all her strength and pushed him forward, holding onto his waist.

Nathaniel's head hit the corner of the table and then slammed heavily onto the floor.

Andrea was startled.

She trembled as she ran downstairs.

She happened to run into Jamie, who had just returned.

In that instant, she fearfully threw herself into Jamie's arms.

Jamie went to her room, saw the blood on the floor, and the person who was barely breathing.

Andrea was terrified. She feared Jamie wouldn't help her.

She couldn't read Jamie's cold expression. She was scared that when Delphine and the maid who went grocery shopping returned, it would be over for her.

Her mind went blank.

At that moment, she seemed to grasp the only hope and said, trembling, "Jamie, I've been waiting for you for so long. Why did you just come now?"

That was the tone from the note.

Jamie was stunned, somewhat incredulous, "It was you."

Andrea lowered her head and said fearfully, "From now on, no one will hit you again."

She gently touched the scars on his back through his clothes.

At that moment, Jamie trembled, "It was you, Andrea. I got it wrong."

Jamie's eyes were somewhat crazed and fervent. He looked at her as if a spark had ignited in the dark night.

She nodded dazedly.

She knew that only Jamie could save her now.

Andrea didn't know what happened afterward.

She only knew that Nathaniel's cause of death was attributed to a car accident.

Jamie's leg suddenly became lame.

Delphine had a bit of a mental breakdown.

Except for Andrea and Jamie, no one knew how Nathaniel died.

It was as if nothing had happened.

And Jamie became very, very good to her. The two relied on each other.

Andrea knew that once this secret was revealed, Jamie would no longer treat her well; he would hate her instead.

So, she would never let this secret be revealed.

She wanted Rachel to never get Jamie's love.

She wanted Natalie to forever leave Adrian.

These affections were originally hers.

Jamie returned to the study, holding a book.

This book was in his bedroom, and he had just finished reading it.

Now, he was putting it back in the study.

His gaze fell on the sofa, and he noticed that the position of his phone had slightly changed.

Although it was still in the same place, its position had shifted.

If one didn't look closely, it wouldn't be noticeable.

He picked up the phone and opened it.

The first thing he saw was a woman's photo. Her chestnut curls were seductive, and her red dress had a slightly tipsy look in her eyes.

Jamie looked at the photo, hesitated for a moment, and didn't delete it.

He reopened Rachel's personal updates and found that Rachel had actually blocked him.
