Chapter 214 Falling into the Sea
Hearing this word, Natalie shuddered.
Adrian felt it too.
However, she suddenly smiled.
Her laughter grew louder and louder.
Adrian looked at the smile on her face. At this moment, she was like a beautiful, vintage painting under a glass display, bathed in the cold moonlight. Her smile was dazzling and enchanting, which was a huge attraction for him.
He couldn't believe he had misjudged her.
He couldn't convince himself to be interested in such a woman.
Even though Natalie admitted it herself, he was still deceived by her innocent appearance.
Adrian turned around and walked away.
Suddenly, a cry of surprise came from behind. "Ah!"
Adrian turned around and saw a light blue sleeve fluttering. Natalie's body fell straight over the railing. Without hesitation, Adrian took a large stride, grabbed her hand, but was pulled into the sea by the falling force.
Both fell into the sea.
"Natalie, Natalie!"
"Open your eyes, Natalie!"
"Natalie!"
Natalie felt a suffocating pain.
She thought, 'Who? Who's calling mer?'
Natalie's chest felt very heavy.
She wanted to break free and wanted to take a breath.
Suddenly, something soft, cool, and with a faint taste of tobacco pressed against her lips.
It seemed like fresh air was being transferred over.
Natalie coughed a few times and opened her eyes.
Her vision became less blurry.
Adrian saw her open her eyes and suddenly felt a sense of relief.
Just now, when he pulled her out of the sea and swam to the shore, he was anxious.
Natalie's face was pale.
Only her cheeks had two patches of red left by her drinking.
This seemed to add a touch of color to her, making her whole face light up.
Natalie gasped for breath, her vision darkening.
She felt everything spinning just now, her mind blank.
She instinctively asked, "Who, who are you? What happened?"
But Adrian got angry after hearing it. "Who am I?? Natalie, you're really too much!"
Natalie shook her head, her whole body wet, clothes sticking to her, making her uncomfortable. As she calmed down, she heard a cold, sarcastic male voice. "Playing such a despicable trick as suicide, Natalie, I really underestimated you!"
So it was Adrian.
She smiled and thought, 'Suicide?" Ha, how can I?'
Natalie said, "I would never commit suicide. I drank too much, leaned on the railing, and accidentally fell over."
"Hmph." Adrian held his suit jacket, which was now soaked with water. His clothes were also wet; water droplets rolled down his face.
Natalie's lips were pale, and the sea breeze made her shiver. She tried to stand up but found herself too weak.
Her whole body was trembling.
Her blue long dress was now wet and clinging to her skin, outlining her perfect curves. The V-neck design of the dress had come loose during the struggle in the water, revealing a bit of skin. Adrian couldn't help but swallow as he looked at Natalie's alluring figure. He threw his wet suit jacket over her.
The next second, Natalie felt herself being lifted horizontally.
Adrian kicked open the bathroom door and threw Natalie into the bathtub.
Adrian said, "Clean yourself up!"
Natalie shivered as the warm water hit her.
The loud sound of the door closing made her look up.
She looked at the unfamiliar place in front of her.
Her eyes showed confusion. This didn't seem to be her room.
