Chapter 1178 You Speak So Highly of Her
"I'm doing this to catch up with you, aren't I?" Natalie muttered softly, "It's just because you walk too fast."
"Simple-minded, underdeveloped limbs, and you blame me for twisting your ankle?" Adrian said, but he still rolled up Natalie's pant leg again to check her ankle.
He gave it a rub, and Natalie winced.
"Does it hurt? Let's see if you'll be more careful next time." Adrian closed the car door, walked around to the other side, got into the driver's seat, and started the car.
"You're really strange. You said you wanted to see a movie, so I came with you. Now you're unhappy, and I didn't even do anything to upset you." Natalie couldn't understand why Adrian's temper had become so odd since he lost his memory.
Adrian had suddenly decided to go see a movie while they were at home.
Natalie thought he was going with Andrea, but to her surprise, Adrian took her instead.
After the movie, his face turned gloomy again.
He was like a block of ice in the theater, and sitting next to him, she didn't even need the air conditioning!
Adrian didn't speak the whole way.
Natalie also stayed silent. Her ankle hurt a bit, not too seriously, but it would take a week to heal, which was just enough time to stay home and read scripts.
The trip was boring.
Natalie was holding two cups of coffee. She opened one and took a sip.
She quickly finished the first cup. She was actually full, but she didn't want to waste it.
Luckily, it had only a little sugar, so she could comfort herself that she wouldn't feel too guilty after drinking it.
Natalie inserted a straw into the second cup and was about to drink.
Suddenly, she heard Adrian's voice, "Isn't that one mine?"
Natalie looked at the coffee in her hand and then at Adrian, who was driving. "Didn't you say you didn't want it?"
"When did I ever say that?"
Natalie didn't expect him to be so shameless.
"Then you drink it."
At a red light, she handed the coffee over.
Adrian didn't take it. "Just keep it with you for now."
The coffee sat next to Natalie, and she could smell its aroma. It was truly tempting. She found herself, against her better judgment, really wanting to drink it!
Meanwhile, Aurelia was following Derek. "That Natalie, she looks so pretty. I can't believe I forgot to ask for her autograph."
"You want her autograph?"
Aurelia said, "I'm not a fan, but I've seen her movies. I think they're pretty good. It's normal to ask for an autograph and a photo when you meet a celebrity."
Derek smiled, "Alright, if we meet her again, I'll get it for you."
"If you ask, she'll definitely give it. After all, you've known her for so long."
Aurelia remembered he had mentioned once that before the jewelry store robbery, he was having dinner with Natalie at a nearby Vistalia-style restaurant.
The thought of a woman knowing Derek for so long made Aurelia jealous.
Derek, being a man, didn't understand these things. "Natalie is a really nice person. She's not arrogant and is easy to talk to. I'm good friends with her and her agent, Heather."
"After filming, if we had time in the evening, we'd find a place to eat together. When I first met Natalie, she wasn't as famous as she is now. Back then, she was hardworking, kind, and brave."
Aurelia was naturally jealous. "You speak so highly of her."
