Chapter 207 Truth or Dare (1)

Alice looked at Adrian's unchanged expression and finally felt relieved, resting her head on Adrian's shoulder.
"Alice, Adrian, come on, let's play a game together."
Alice asked, "What game?"
"Truth or Dare."
On the other side, the girl who had previously explained the game rules to Daniel walked over, her voice gentle. "Mr. Murphy, Natalie, we're playing Truth or Dare. Why don't you join us? The more, the merrier."
Daniel remembered the ridiculous two-minute kissing game from before and felt bored. He glanced at Natalie, who was grilling, and said, "We'll pass. You guys go ahead."
The girl said, "Mr. Murphy, everyone else is joining. It wouldn't be nice if just the two of you didn't come. Besides, the rules this time are mild; there won't be any kissing or confessions."
Considering Natalie's feelings, Daniel looked at her.
Natalie saw that almost everyone, except for a few drunk people, had joined the game. It wouldn't be good if she and Daniel didn't go. "Alright, let's go."
They went over to make up the numbers.
Diana said, "I'll explain the rules first. We'll draw cards as usual. This time, I've only put one Ace of Hearts in the deck. Whoever draws it can choose Truth, Dare, or take a drink."
Everyone nodded. "Okay."
Diana dealt the cards as usual, and soon everyone revealed their cards. Natalie opened hers and sighed in relief—it wasn't her.
"Oh no, I'm so unlucky, it's me!" said Rachel.
She spread her hands and said, "Truth."
Diana naturally wouldn't make things difficult for Rachel. Who would dare trouble the youngest daughter of the Howard family? She immediately smiled and casually asked, "Ms. Howard, do you have a crush on anyone?"
Although the question was simple, it caught the attention of many men.
With the sea breeze blowing, Rachel's cheeks blushed. "Well... of course, I do."
Someone asked, "Who is it?"
Another one asked, "Rachel, is it Ivan Guise?"
Rachel immediately denied it. "No way."
She thought, 'How could I like such an idiot?'
Seeing that she wouldn't say, everyone teased her a bit before continuing drawing and revealing cards.
In the next two rounds, one person chose to drink, and another chose Dare.
The one who chose Dare was Samuel. He stood up. "I'll go for something thrilling. You guys decide."
Diana said, "Although I'm the dealer, I can't decide. Mr. Russell, why don't you pick someone to give you a dare?"
Samuel looked around, and Elizabeth said, "Me, me, me, Samuel..."
Samuel wouldn't let Elizabeth set the dare; she would definitely prank him.
He cleared his throat and said, "Let's have the person holding the Jack of Hearts give the dare."
Natalie looked at the card in her hand. She thought, 'Jack of Hearts? It seems to be me.'
She quietly raised her finger, signaling to Samuel that it was her.
Samuel gave her a gentle smile. "Ms. Teeger, it's you. Please go easy on me and don't make it too difficult."
He made a pleading gesture.
Samuel's status was special; he was a popular movie star. If he did something outrageous and got secretly filmed, it would be troublesome. Plus, Natalie wasn't the type to make things difficult for others. She thought for a moment. "Hug the person holding the Three of Diamonds."
"That simple?"
"That's so boring, Natalie. You should have made him kiss the person holding the Three of Diamonds for a good prank."
"Yeah, she's no fun at all."
Everyone immediately expressed their dissatisfaction. The point of the game was to be thrilling, and a hug was nothing.
Samuel gave Natalie a grateful smile and hugged a girl holding the Three of Diamonds, Donna Moore, who was very shy and excited. Samuel let go after a brief hug.
Donna sat down, her heart still racing, occasionally glancing at Samuel. Today was truly a great opportunity; she had actually hugged Samuel.
The nex round, someone said, "Oh, Natalie, you have the Ace of Hearts."
