Chapter 375 What Do You Want?
To her, dignity no longer mattered. She just wanted a better life for herself and Rosalie, free from judgment and control. No family was more powerful than the Howards, and no one more influential than Adrian.
Alice was trying to drive her out of Vachilit, scared she'd spill the beans about the hotel incident.
But she wasn't going to let Alice win.
Adrian said, "Alright, tonight at 8 PM, I'll be waiting for you in suite 8016 at the Four Seasons Pearl Hotel."
Natalie replied, "Okay."
At 8 PM, Natalie arrived at the Four Seasons Pearl Hotel, one of the biggest in Vachilit and owned by the Howard Group. The lobby was lavish. She went to the room and knocked.
Adrian opened the door, smelling fresh from a shower. He stepped aside, and she walked in. She grabbed a bathrobe from the closet and headed to the bathroom. After her shower, she came out.
Adrian stood by the window, sipping red wine. He turned to look at her.
Her eyes were misty, cheeks flushed from the shower. Her long hair was half-dry, draped over her shoulders, and she wore a deep V-neck bathrobe.
She was thin, and the bathrobe looked loose on her.
"Come here," Adrian said, his voice hoarse.
Natalie walked over, and Adrian wrapped his arm around her waist. They fell onto the soft bed. She didn't resist his kiss; instead, she wrapped her arms around his neck.
She had made her choice and wouldn't regret it.
"What made you change your mind? You've always refused me," Adrian said, pinching her chin, eyes locked on her flawless face.
"Is it bad that I changed my mind? Isn't this what you wanted? I give you what you want, and you give me what I want." She held the hand pinching her chin. "Mr. Howard, aren't you going to ask me what I want?"
Adrian asked, "What do you want?"
Natalie replied, "If I tell you what I want, will you give it to me?"
Adrian said, "Anything but marrying you."
He could do anything but that for her.
Even if she wanted a star, he could have someone buy one and name it after her.
Natalie said, "I want the lead role in the show 'One Day.'"
"Okay," Adrian agreed without hesitation.
Natalie was surprised. He lowered his head and continued to kiss her. He had said he could make anything happen, except marrying her.
The next morning, golden light filtered through the lavender curtains, brightening the room.
Clothes were scattered on the floor.
A black men's suit intertwined with a woman's light pink lingerie, exuding intimacy.
The air was filled with the scent of desire.
Natalie, lying in bed, moved slightly. Her long hair spread out on the pillow, and a man's arm was draped over her waist.
Natalie opened her eyes. The first thing she saw was Adrian's handsome, deep-set features.
Adrian was still asleep, eyes closed. She stared at his face for a few moments, her heart pounding. She had to admit, Adrian truly had the power to conquer everything.
