Chapter 1061 The Same Teacher
Samuel grinned and jumped back into the conversation, "Man, it was wild back then. We both rushed in, barely catching our breath. Then we turned around and saw all those photographers. That moment was unforgettable and tough, but we were all stoked with how it turned out."
"Mr. Russell, is this your first time working with Natalie?"
"Nah, we've teamed up before. We've known each other for ages," Samuel replied, still smiling.
Natalie chimed in, "It was Mr. Russell who got me into the entertainment biz."
Juniper added, "You two really have a special connection."
Her words had a deeper meaning, making a few people shift uncomfortably.
After all, Natalie was Adrian's wife, and they had just tied the knot not too long ago.
Natalie just smiled, "Mr. Russell is not only my friend but also my mentor."
Samuel nodded. "Yeah, we actually had the same mentor."
With just a few words, they managed to smooth over the awkwardness.
Natalie shot a quick glance at Juniper and slightly pursed her lips, thinking Juniper was always out to get her.
Juniper, dressed to the nines in an elegant gown and a jeweled necklace, looked regal. But when the other main cast members stood next to her for the interview, they all kept a bit of distance, making Juniper seem kind of isolated.
During the interview, Juniper kept butting in with her own comments.
During a break, Juniper looked at Natalie. "Natalie, congrats. I heard you married into a wealthy family. That's great; now you don't have to work hard anymore." It was clear she was jealous.
Samuel frowned and looked at Juniper.
Everyone could see Juniper's snarky attitude towards Natalie.
Natalie shot back, "Yeah, but no amount of effort can help someone without talent in this industry."
A few media folks couldn't help but laugh, enjoying the sight of Juniper being taken down a peg. 'Finally,' they thought, 'that annoying spotlight hog is getting what she deserves. So what if Natalie married rich? Her acting skills are undeniable, and her box office numbers speak for themselves. Ten years of Juniper's career couldn't match Natalie's success in just a few years.'
Juniper's face turned sour as she was about to retort, but her mic was cut off.
The producers were already fed up with Juniper for hogging the spotlight.
After the interview wrapped up, someone brought out champagne to celebrate the rising box office numbers of "Rising Winds."
Oscar clinked glasses with Natalie and asked about her schedule.
Natalie was juggling three film projects and wanted a break.
Oscar had more films lined up and was about to start the next one, hoping Natalie could make a cameo.
Natalie nodded and agreed. The timing was perfect, and she had enjoyed working with Oscar before.
Oscar smiled gratefully, "That's awesome."
Oscar wasn't sure if Natalie would agree to the cameo, given her rising status and recent marriage to Adrian. He was both surprised and grateful she said yes.
Oscar briefly discussed the character with Natalie. It was a pure and beautiful college student, the male lead's first love, with only a few minutes of screen time, which would take less than a week to film.
