Chapter 1131 The Roses Have Bloomed
Going downstairs, Natalie saw Violette in the living room.
Violette looked at her and said, "Mrs. Howard, you're awake."
"Why didn't you wake me up?" Natalie asked.
Violette replied, "Mr. Howard didn't let me wake you. He said you should rest."
Natalie felt a warmth in her heart, smiling. "Where's Adrian?"
"Mr. Howard went out with Ms. Lawson. Ms. Lawson said they were taking a walk in the garden."
Natalie's pupils dimmed a bit as she realized he went out with Andrea.
Violette said, "Mrs. Howard, there's a hot dish. I'll get them for you."
Natalie didn't have much of an appetite, but when she got hungry, her stomach would hurt.
Violette was a great cook and had even made a cinnamon roll for Natalie. "Cinnamon rolls are a specialty from my hometown. Mrs. Howard, you can try it."
Natalie took a bite. "It is very refreshing. Violette, can you teach me how to make it?"
"Sure, whenever Mrs. Howard has time, I'll teach you."
Natalie said, "Anytime is fine."
Natalie wouldn't be joining any film crews this month; she wanted to stay by Adrian's side. She had pushed back all her scripts. She knew she was being a bit lovesick, but she felt guilty towards Adrian. Avery had wanted to kill her, but she had ended up implicating Adrian. When they fell into the lake, Adrian had protected her, holding her hand tightly.
After Natalie finished dinner, Adrian still hadn't returned. She went out to look for him. The garden of the Howard Mansion was very large. After searching for a while, Natalie finally found Adrian.
He was standing next to Andrea, who was holding a rose.
They seemed to be talking about something. Under the soft and blurry lights, Adrian had a gentle smile on his face, a smile that Natalie had never seen.
Andrea saw her first. "Natalie, you're here."
Adrian turned around, his gaze lightly sweeping across Natalie's face.
Natalie walked over.
Andrea handed the rose to Natalie. "Natalie, look at these roses that Adrian and I planted together years ago. I can't believe it's grown so lush after seven years."
Natalie looked at the rose in her hand. The flower was delicate and vibrant. As she gently squeezed it, a thorn pricked her finger.
Andrea gasped, "Natalie, are you okay?"
Natalie shook her head and smiled, "The flower is beautiful."
"Natalie, since you're here, I'll take my leave." Andrea said.
Adrian's voice was deep. "Andrea, you mentioned wanting to see Caspian Reyes' concert tomorrow. I'll go with you."
Andrea's eyes lit up. "Really? Thank you, Adrian."
She glanced at Natalie, seemingly saying on purpose, "Natalie, why don't you join us? But I'm not sure if we can get extra tickets. You know Caspian's concerts are always sold out."
Natalie faintly smiled, her gaze fixed on Andrea, her eyes filled with disdain. " Andrea likes Caspian's concerts. Caspian is having a concert at the stadium in the south of the city next week. If you want tickets, just let me know. A few tickets are no problem for me."
Given Natalie's current status in the entertainment industry, getting a few tickets to Caspian's concert was a piece of cake.
