Chapter 1225 Her Fingers Weakly Drooped Down

Rachel let go of her hand.

Her fingers hung limply.

It turned out everything was just a joke on herself.

Rachel heard the balcony door close, and she couldn't hold back her tears any longer.

At this moment, her heart shattered completely.

It turned out that everything Rachel once had was just a dream.

A dream that didn't belong to her.

In the dining room.

It was already lunchtime, and the family was seated, except for the empty seat opposite Natalie.

"Where's Rachel?" Joe asked.

Claire didn't know either, "I just saw her, where did she go?"

Jamie tightened his grip on the cutlery.

Ruben's gaze swept over Jamie's face.

As if probing for something.

At this moment, Jeffery walked over and replied, "Ms. Howard said she had a stomachache and went back to rest."

Claire said, "I'll go check on her."

"No need, let's eat first. Jeffery, have a servant take some food to Rachel in the kitchen."

Since Ruben had spoken, Claire nodded.

Natalie bit her lip, took out her phone, and sent Rachel a message.

[What's wrong? Are you feeling unwell?]

After a few minutes, Rachel didn't reply, so Natalie sent another message: [If you're not feeling well, I'll reschedule my flight.]A few seconds later, Rachel replied: [No need.]

Natalie knew that Rachel had seen her messages.

She was probably in a bad mood and didn't want to respond.

She was fine before lunch, watching her play chess in the chess room, so why did she suddenly become like this?

"Ruben, I want to take Andrea back to Regal City in a while," Jamie suddenly said.

Natalie looked up at Jamie.

Ruben said, "No rush, stay a bit longer. Andrea just woke up, you two should come here more often. There's an expo next week, accompany me to it."

"Yes."

After lunch, Natalie went back to get her luggage.

This time, she was going to Suncrest City for a long shoot, but she still didn't bring much. Violette nagged her with reminders, and Natalie smiled, "Got it."

This time, she didn't stay at the hotel booked by the crew in Suncrest City.

Instead, she booked a villa at her own expense.

Because she would be staying for a long time, and Rachel and her assistant were also with her, and sometimes Heather would come over too. It was more convenient for the family to stay together.

Derek had gone to Meadowbrook City, and replacing him was a man in his mid-thirties, strong and tall, an old friend of Derek's.

He was a steady driver and skilled, serving as both bodyguard and driver, named Lloyd Wallace.

Lloyd's car drove into the Howard mansion and stopped at the villa entrance to wait.

Lloyd had an honest and sturdy appearance, and he was strong, carrying a suitcase in each hand, "Natalie, just these two suitcases?"

"Yes, just these two. My friend's might be a bit more."

Natalie was about to get in the car when she saw Adrian walking over. She said to Lloyd, "Go to building 6 in the front and help me load my friend's suitcases. I'll be right there."

Natalie pointed in the direction, and Lloyd immediately drove there.

Adrian walked over, "Are you heading to the airport now?"

Natalie nodded.

Adrian said, "Have a great shoot. If you run into any issues, you can contact my assistant. You should have his contact information."

"Okay." Natalie nodded.
