Chapter 733 Remorse

Natalie gave a nod. "Yep, Cassidy's running the Reynolds show now. She's Nicholas's stepmom."

"So it's her!" Heather's eyes widened. "Natalie, why are you digging into Cassidy? You in some kind of mess?"

Natalie dropped her voice, not wanting to wake Bella, and stepped out onto the tiny balcony. "It's my bestie, Bella. She married Austin, the oldest Reynolds kid. He's in the hospital. Had a car crash when he was young, and he's never been the same. Now his old injuries are acting up, and it's looking bad."

Heather nodded. "Got it. I'll get my boyfriend on it now and see what we can dig up."

Natalie teased, "Been spending more time with your boyfriend lately? Don't just bury yourself in work. Dynamic Entertainment's got a ton going on; you can't juggle it all. After wrapping up Rising Winds and getting back to Vachilit, you should chill with your guy more."

Heather blushed. "I have. When I get a chance, I'll bring him over to meet you."

Natalie laughed. "Cool, I wanna see what kind of guy you're into."

After hanging up, Heather handled a few issues from some actors and actresses and quickly sorted out Natalie's upcoming gigs.

Natalie's been swimming in fashion gigs lately, including a big women's mag shoot set for the day after tomorrow. Heather called the editor and got it pushed back by two days.

As she left the office, she bumped into Odette. Since Karen became VP, Odette's been managing Alice and reporting to Karen.

Odette greeted Heather, "Ms. Ross."

Heather nodded and walked out.

Odette headed to Karen's office. "Just saw Heather leave. Bet she's off to see Natalie. Natalie's been on leave from the crew. Seems like her friend's got some issues, and she's sticking by her."

Karen asked, "Which friend?"

Odette shrugged. "No clue." She pulled out a contract from her bag. "This is for one of Alice's ad deals. Alice wants an annual contract, but the advertiser's only offering three months. Alice threw a fit this morning and said she won't sign unless it's for a year."

"Not a big name, but a big attitude," Karen scoffed, tossing the contract into the trash. "If Alice doesn't wanna sign, then forget it. Give it to Marlowe. Her web series is getting some buzz, so she can take this short-term deal."

Agents always preferred easy-to-handle actresses and actors. Alice, being a spoiled rich girl, was a nightmare to work with.

Odette didn't leave but added, "Alice's been bugging me for a high-end endorsement. Since Natalie's luxury brand ad dropped and is killing it online, Alice wants to outshine her. She told me to tell you we gotta snag the C brand endorsement."

Karen almost rolled her eyes. Spinning in her chair, she was speechless at Alice's mindset. She couldn't believe she ever backed Alice in the first place.
