Chapter 345 Agreeing to Leave
Alice felt superior ordering Natalie’s mom around.
"Chicken soup again? I'm sick of it," Alice complained.
Rosalie replied, "Ms. Cullen, it's nutritious. You're far along in your pregnancy and need to take care of yourself, especially with your foot just healed."
Rosalie handed Alice a bowl of soup, her eyes full of concern. "You shouldn't wear high heels while pregnant."
Alice was fed up. She couldn't wear heels at home or at the Howard's, and now Rosalie was nagging her here. She'd thought about getting rid of the baby more than once. She didn't care.
"So what if I wear them? You can't control me!" Alice snapped.
Rosalie shook her head. "I'm saying this for your own good. The Howard family values the baby."
Alice finished the soup, gritting her teeth. "They only care about the baby, not me! If I weren't pregnant, they wouldn't even notice me! Keep your daughter away from Adrian, or I'll kill her!"
"Natalie wouldn't do that," Rosalie said, panicking. "You must be mistaken."
"I can't stand you or Natalie," Alice said, standing up. "Get her out of here. I'm sick of seeing her."
"Ms. Cullen, please calm down," Rosalie pleaded.
Karen, feeling Alice was unreasonable but powerless, said to Rosalie, "You should leave. You know Ms. Cullen's temper."
Rosalie sighed and started packing up.
Alice's phone rang. "Mom," she answered sweetly. It was Avery.
Rosalie paused, gripping the thermos handle tightly, silently cursing Avery.
Alice continued, "I'm at Dynamic Entertainment. I'm fine. What? Another prenatal checkup? Alright, got it."
After hanging up, Alice glared at Rosalie. "Why are you still here?"
"I'll go with you to the checkup," Rosalie offered.
Alice snorted. "What does it have to do with you?"
Rosalie sighed, full of concern. "Natalie and I are leaving Vachilit next month. Take care of yourself."
Alice, seeing the care in Rosalie's eyes, froze for a moment. Then she sneered, "You think I can't live without you? You're just a servant who seduced my father, causing my parents to fight. And your daughter seduced my fiancé. You're both disgusting."
Rosalie stepped back. "Ms. Cullen, you can't say that. I've agreed to leave with Natalie."
