Chapter 1189 The Mysterious Agreement

"Alright then, I'll go first. I have nothing to hide. I'm just a broke guy with no family left. I have no money, just my life. I came to this casino to try my luck. If I can, I'll become a millionaire overnight. If not, I'll lose everything, including my life."

"Same here, no money. My daughter is sick, but I can't afford a good doctor. Her surgery costs $300,000. If I can get that money, I'll do anything."

"I'm just here for fun, waiting until the ship sets sail again. I've never been here before, just heard about it on a forum. It sounded pretty mysterious."

"You all sound pretty young. Are you students?"

"You can tell? My friends and I are about to graduate high school. We can't focus on studying anymore. We saw this cruise on a forum and thought it sounded mysterious, so we decided to check it out."

"Ah, what a pity. You young guys coming here, this place isn't as fun as you think."

"Yeah, at your age, you should be focusing on your studies."

Derek asked, "Which forum did you see it on?"

"Are you talking about the information on Ocean Harmony? We found it on a forum called SUISUI. We just clicked in randomly and saw a post from someone who had been on Ocean Harmony describing what it was like. I got curious, and it said that if you signed up, you had a chance to get tickets. They were giving away three tickets, and we got lucky."

The guy took out his phone, but there was no network here, only internal Wi-Fi. He opened a webpage that displayed a single sentence.

[Here, you are no longer yourself.]

No one could understand what that meant.

But no one paid much attention to it.

The guy had taken a screenshot of the page and handed it to Derek.

Derek glanced at it and silently noted the URL.

"Hey buddy, what are you here for?" Someone patted Derek on the shoulder.

Derek's mouth twitched, "To save someone."

"You're here to save someone too, huh? You all see this place as your last hope, but don't get your hopes up too high. I've been here before. This place isn't for normal people. When the next ship sets sail, get out as soon as you can. Your life is more important."

The warehouse was a mess.

The smell was complex.

No one really slept that night.

There were all kinds of noises—people talking in their sleep, grinding their teeth, and some shouting to be let out.

The air was stuffy.

By early morning, it was just a bit brighter than the previous dimness. The ship had already set sail, and outside, the waves were crashing against the hull.

A few people got seasick and started vomiting.

The air immediately became filled with a foul smell.

"That's disgusting. What's that smell?"

"Can you not puke in here? Are you trying to kill us with the stench?"

"Where are the people outside? Open the door and let us get some fresh air!"

Someone was banging on the door.

At that moment, the door opened from the outside.

A person in a black suit and wearing a black mask walked in. "Here's an agreement. Sign it, and you can go to the first floor to eat."

"Really? That's great."
