Chapter 1010 You Just Got Lucky
The teammates took a closer look and realized it was the bunch of ladies who had asked Robbie for his autograph.
Rachel glanced at the unexpected guest next to her, her smile getting a bit forced. "Bobby, what are you doing here?"
Bobby grinned, "I'm here to eat. No seats left; this place is packed. Mind if I join you?"
A few of Bobby's teammates wandered over too. The table was meant for four, but they squeezed in with some extra stools.
Rachel frowned, clearly not thrilled about it.
"What's your name, Miss?" Bobby asked.
Rachel ignored him and turned to Natalie, "Hurry up and eat. I'll take you home after."
Natalie wasn't wearing a mask, just a baseball cap. She'd taken off her mask to eat. Today, she was bare-faced, and compared to the heavily made-up Rachel, her face was flawless and naturally elegant.
A blond guy tried to chat her up, "Miss, what's your name? Can I add you on Facebook?"
Rachel cut in, "Stop bothering my sister-in-law."
"She's married? I'm heartbroken," the blond guy said, putting on a face of mock sorrow.
Bobby wasn't interested in Natalie; his eyes were on Rachel. But Rachel's face showed clear dislike. Bobby thought, 'Robbie, a loser and a gigolo, why would so many girls fancy him?'
The owner's wife brought over the grilled skewers.
Bobby handed a skewer of grilled chicken wings to Rachel, "Here you go, Miss. Tonight's meal is on me."
"No thanks." Rachel looked up slightly and said to Bobby, "I don't like you. I like the NOZ team. I've been a fan for years. When NOZ was at its peak, your THT team wasn't even around. Even if you beat Robbie once, I believe he'll definitely beat you in the competition in mid-June."
Bobby smirked, his earring catching the light. He looked at Rachel, "Robbie? He'll definitely lose. The only reason he won before was because I wasn't around. Now that I'm here, he has to step aside! I only used part of my strength today. In the last few laps, I was just toying with Robbie, giving him a treat to chase, then pulling it back. If I went all out, he'd lose miserably."
Rachel's face turned pale. Hearing NOZ team being insulted like this, she gritted her teeth, "Bobby!"
"Yes?" Bobby smiled, "Miss, your voice sounds so nice when you call my name. Say it a few more times."
The rest THT members burst into laughter.
"Miss, I don't know what you're thinking. Bobby is the strongest rookie. The Robbie you support is nothing compared to Bobby."
"Miss, what's so great about that Robbie? He even had relationships with fans before. Did he say he wanted to add you on Facebook? He's probably just trying to hook up with you."
