Chapter 521 The Bare Face Goddess
Natalie grinned. "From when I was a kid till now, not many dudes have chased after me."
Heather smirked, "You could say they were just blind."
Natalie laughed, "Heather, is it possible that you think too highly of me because you're often around me?"
She really thought she looked pretty average.
Since she was young, she felt like Cinderella. She looked a bit like Alice, but Alice, no matter where she was, always looked like a real princess in a fancy dress.
At 10:20 AM, Natalie and Heather strolled out of Dynamic Entertainment Media.
Natalie suggested hitting up the supermarket to grab some stuff for a barbecue dinner. They used to do this a lot. So, she and Heather went to the supermarket, grabbed a cart, and started picking out veggies. Out of nowhere, someone recognized her.
A high school girl with a phone asked, "Are you Natalie?"
Natalie was caught off guard and glanced at Heather, then nodded with a smile. "Yeah, that's me."
The girl got all excited. "Can I get your autograph?"
Natalie scribbled her name in the girl's notebook.
The girl clutched it to her chest. "You're so pretty. You should act more. I'll always support you."
Natalie felt a bit touched.
This was the first time something like this had happened to her.
She whispered, "Thanks."
More and more people started recognizing her and crowding around.
Natalie and Heather quickly bailed from the supermarket. Heather said, "Sorry, I didn't think this through."
They hadn't expected last night's event to blow up and make Natalie so famous.
Before, Natalie could shop at the supermarket without any hassle, and no one would recognize her.
Back at the apartment, Natalie looked at the half-bought groceries and opened a food delivery app to order some stuff. Heather called Mindy, who immediately sent over two bodyguards.
Meanwhile, #Supermarket Encounter With Natalie# shot up the trending list.
The person who posted the video commented: [I swear, no filters. Look at Natalie vs others. She's just stunning.]
[No makeup? Bare face queen!]
[Totally no makeup. She didn't even do her eyebrows! No eye makeup either!]
[Is she really this gorgeous without makeup?]
[How can she be so slim and still have such a great figure!]
[Natalie's legs are so long!]
[Natalie is beautiful. I love her.]
[I want the same clothes as Natalie.]
[I have the same hoodie. My mom says I look like a ragpicker in it, but Natalie looks amazing in it.]
[Her voice is so gentle.]
In two hours, the video racked up over 15 million views, and Natalie's Facebook followers were skyrocketing.
Natalie was blown away by all the comments. Meanwhile, Alice was secretly fuming as she read all the praise for Natalie on the trending list!
On the second floor of the Cullen Mansion.
In Alice's bedroom, she lay on her bed, scrolling through Facebook, getting angrier with each positive comment about Natalie, wanting to chuck her phone.
How could a lowly maid get so much praise?
She sat up, quickly did her makeup, and picked out an expensive dress she loved. This dress was a limited edition and cost six figures.
Alice leaned against the windowsill, snapped a photo, and posted it on her Facebook.
