Chapter 229 I'm Natalie
Natalie was stunned. Her eyes widened. "Adrian, I'm Natalie."
Adrian looked a bit lost. "Natalie."
"Yes, Natalie," she repeated.
Adrian mumbled something, but Natalie couldn't make it out. He was burning up with a fever and seemed delirious.
She watched his lips move and leaned in closer. "What did you say?"
Adrian murmured, "Natalie, where are you?"
Natalie's expression shifted. She looked at the feverish, unconscious Adrian.
She thought, 'He still remember my name.'
She whispered, "I'm here." Even though she knew he couldn't hear her.
Outside the cave, it started to rain.
If it weren't for this cave, she didn't know what would have happened. Natalie was anxious. She had used all the medicine, but Adrian's fever wouldn't break because of the snake venom, and he remained unconscious.
She took out her phone, but there was no signal in the deep forest.
She wondered, 'What should we do? When will the rescue team arrive?'
Daniel and his group returned to the hotel. He immediately asked the receptionist, "Where's Natalie? Has she come back?"
The receptionist shook her head. "I haven't seen Ms. Teeger."
Daniel's heart sank. Outside, thunder roared and rain poured down. He didn't know what it was like in the forest. He took out his phone and called Loren, "Natalie hasn't come back, Loren. We have to find her and Adrian!"
Loren was just as anxious.
Alice, standing nearby, overheard the conversation. Her face turned pale. "What do we do? Adrian hasn't come out yet! What if something happens to him?" She shouted hysterically, "Adrian hasn't been found yet. What are you all doing? The forest is so dangerous. Loren, can you take responsibility if something happens to Adrian?"

Now he feared that Natalie and Adrian had already reached the deep forest. Otherwise, their phones wouldn't have lost signal.
Loren originally thought this group of wealthy people would just play in the safe zone at the edge. He never expected anyone to go deep inside.
"Alice, don't worry. Mr. Howard will be fine." Sandra quickly came over to comfort her.

Natalie and Adrian had been missing for five hours.
