Chapter 1064 Cheated On?
After her assistant left, Juniper fired up her tablet and saved that video.
If she hadn't seen the trending topic about Natalie and Samuel having lunch today, Juniper might've forgotten she had footage of Natalie sneaking into Samuel's room in her pajamas. She'd been waiting for the right moment to drop it, and now was perfect.
Juniper made a new account, switched up her IP address, and posted the video.
She shut off the tablet, plopped down on the couch, and burst out laughing.
"Natalie, let's see how you handle this. Will your fancy life crash and burn? Rich families are all about appearances. If Adrian sees this, they're doomed. Even if they stay together, their relationship is toast." Juniper felt a wave of satisfaction. She grabbed a bottle of wine from the fridge, poured herself half a glass, and took a sip.
'Natalie, I'm gonna teach you a lesson,' Juniper thought.
Initially, there was just a 3-second clip from the paparazzi, and people were pretty chill about it.
I mean, grabbing a meal with a friend isn't a big deal. Even though the paparazzi's headline made it sound scandalous, the video just showed them eating at their own table.
Everyone knew the paparazzi loved to blow things out of proportion.
But when a new account suddenly dropped a video, the internet went nuts.
In the video, Natalie, in her pajamas, knocked on Samuel's door and walked in. The poster claimed this was during the filming of "Rising Winds."
[What? Natalie and Samuel are a thing?]
[Does that mean Adrian got cheated on?]
[Natalie looks so innocent, but who knows she has this side to her?]
[No way, Samuel's my idol. Is he really with Natalie?]
[Knocking on someone's door in the middle of the night? Natalie is totally hitting on Samuel.]
Meanwhile, the four people having dinner had no clue about any of this. They'd had a few drinks and were feeling a bit tipsy.
Heather went to the bar to look for her lost phone, thinking, 'Back then, I wanted to call the cops, but some thug grabbed me, and my phone fell. After that, it's all a blur.'
She asked the bar staff to check the surveillance footage.
In the footage, she saw Yancy rush over and punch the thug in the face. They started brawling. The thug didn't stand a chance against Yancy and was quickly on the ground, begging for mercy. Yancy's anger was still boiling. If his two friends hadn't pulled him away, the thug would've probably ended up in the hospital.
But Heather's phone was still missing.
Watching the footage, Heather bit her lip, thinking, 'Yancy hasn't forgotten about me, has he? Maybe he has his reasons. I shouldn't have bailed on him without asking for an explanation, drinking alone here. I need to trust him. The Yancy I know isn't like this.'
Even though she didn't find her phone, Heather's faith in Yancy was renewed.
Just as she walked out of the bar, she got a call from Finnian.
