Chapter 451 Running Out of Time
Nicholas strolled out of the bedroom and onto the third-floor balcony. He leaned on the railing, the night breeze blowing through the floor-to-ceiling windows, messing up his hair. There was a scar on Nicholas's forehead, not too deep, and everyone thought he got it from brawling while messing around with women.
He reached out and gently touched the scar, his eyes gradually dimming.
This scar was from a car accident six years ago.
Because he was actually Austin.
And the person lying in the hospital bed was his brother, Nicholas.
In a car accident six years ago, both he and Nicholas were in the car. At that time, the Reynolds family was in chaos, and Austin was about to take over the Reynolds Group. Unfortunately, a man-made car accident left both of them injured, but Nicholas was hurt more severely, while Austin only suffered minor injuries.

A servant downstairs spotted Nicholas emerging from the bedroom and, after a quick calculation of the time, headed downstairs. Cassidy yawned, ready to go to bed, and the servant came to report, "Nicholas stayed in Austin's room for 40 minutes."
Cassidy nodded and prepared to go upstairs to rest, with Lucy following behind.
Lucy said, "I heard from the doctor that Austin doesn't have long to live, at most six months."
Cassidy replied, "After all, he is the eldest son of the Reynolds family. He should leave with dignity. Before he dies, I'll give him a wife."
Lucy smiled. "Mrs. Reynolds, you've arranged it well. Then let's have Miss Swan move in next week."
She added, "But the Swan family was chosen by Mr. Brandon Reynolds. Should we give them a warning?"
"Xavier's old allies are few now. I run the whole Reynolds Group. When Austin kicks the bucket, it's only right that I take over.As for Nicholas, with his reputation, he won't get anything from the Reynolds Group."
As for Nicholas, who only knew how to spend money and fool around with women, just giving him some money to live was enough. She wouldn't give him any position in the Reynolds Group.
Lucy said, "But right now, Star Entertainment is in Nicholas's hands."
Cassidy said, "Star Entertainment is useless."
The next morning, Bella received a message from the Reynolds family, saying that Cassidy wanted to meet her.
She asked, "Do I have to go?"
Marissa Flores looked at her. "Of course, she's your future mother-in-law. If she wants to see you, you can't refuse."
Bella saw her mother hesitate. "And what else?"
Caleb Swan said, "And, the Reynolds Group is basically in Cassidy's hands now. If you really want a good life in the Reynolds family, then you must meet Cassidy."
Bella nodded. "I understand."
Marissa's eyes showed worry. "I never wanted Bella to marry into that family, especially since Austin doesn't have much time left."
