Chapter 1207 Forgetting Someone

Jamie said coldly, "In any case, I don't want Rachel bothering me anymore. Since you're Rachel's friend, please keep her in check. If she comes to disturb me again and affects me, I don't know if I can control myself and might do something disgraceful."

"Jamie, you gave her a carousel just for her, an Evening Star, and countless happy memories. Doesn't that count for anything? If you didn't like her, why did you do all that for her?"

"Let's just say I was blind before and gave it to the wrong person."

With that, Jamie hung up the phone.

Natalie looked at the phone and gripped it tightly.

She glanced worriedly at the sleeping Rachel, gently stroking her hair. Natalie hadn't known Rachel for long, but this girl was very simple.

Despite being a wealthy heiress with a prominent family background and loving parents, she had a bit of a temper but was very pure and straightforward.

Sometimes she would laugh to herself, always optimistic and carefree.

She sometimes liked to be noisy, like a little sparrow.

But she had a kind heart.

This kindness was like a blank sheet of paper, completely different from the fake kindness of someone like Alice.

She didn't want such a pure girl to get hurt.

Natalie took Rachel's phone, unlocked it, and deleted the 7-minute call with Jamie.

If there were a medicine in the world that could make someone forget another person, she would give it to Rachel and let her take it.

Loving someone with no future or outcome is a kind of pain.

She wanted Rachel to always remain kind and pure.

Natalie had already packed her bags this week, ready to go to Suncrest City to join the group for the script reading of "My Heart, Bright Moon."

Although this drama was produced by Dynamic Entertainment, the screenwriter and the entire production team were very reliable.

After all, Natalie herself was the big boss of Dynamic Entertainment, and this drama was one of the biggest investments in historical dramas this year.

Natalie had previously told Rachel that she could go to Suncrest City with her as her assistant to relax, and Rachel had agreed.

Now that her leg injury had healed, she had also packed her bags and was ready to go with Natalie.

They would leave tomorrow, Sunday.

Night fell.

Tonight was the Howard family's weekly family dinner.

Almost the entire extended family was there.

Even Quincy Murphy had come.

Natalie also met the mysterious Quincy.

It was said that Quincy had been seriously ill before and had just recovered.

Apparently, he had undergone a major brain surgery that lasted 10 hours. He had recovered but still wore a hat all the time.

Although Natalie had been married into the Howard family for some time, she had never met Quincy.

The Murphy family's company was managed by Melissa and Daniel. Melissa was a strong woman, but she seemed much softer around Quincy, like a housewife, with concern and tenderness in her eyes when she looked at him.

Adrian reached out to Natalie, and she walked over, linking her arm with his. Adrian introduced Quincy to her, "Quincy, this is Natalie."

Quincy smiled. He was very thin, tall, dressed in a smoky gray tracksuit, a casual outfit. His smile was very bright.

Although he was thin, he didn't look sickly. It was clear that he must have been a bright and cheerful person when he was younger.

He wore a baseball cap, and his nose was high and straight, a trait Daniel had completely inherited. "I've heard your name. I've even seen your movies. I'm a fan of yours. I really liked 'Rising Winds' and 'The Nameless Road.'"
