Chapter 1365 Must Agree

Adrian gently lifted her chin with his fingers, his eyes filled with a tender smile. His voice was husky, like the early morning. "I'm looking at a woman named Natalie."

After a moment of intimacy.

Natalie looked at him seriously and said, "Adrian, wait for me to come back. Don't rush into surgery on your own. It doesn't matter if you remember me or not, as long as you're healthy. If surgery is the only way to restore your memory but it harms your body, I won't agree to it."

Adrian was a strong-willed man, but at this moment, he saw the worry in her eyes.

He couldn't help but press his lips together.

Natalie knew him better than anyone. She knew that although he said the experts would develop a surgical plan, she feared he might go ahead with the surgery while she was away filming.

Natalie held his fingers tightly. "Adrian, you have to promise me!"

Seeing the determination and concern in her eyes, Adrian nodded.

"I promise you."

Adrian indeed had thoughts of undergoing surgery early.

It felt like he was interacting with this woman through a veil. He wanted to remember all his past memories.

He liked the woman in front of him.

Hearing Adrian's promise, Natalie finally breathed a sigh of relief.

9:30 AM.

The third shop on Back Alley.

This street was lined with various shops.

The rent wasn't expensive, but it was far from the bustling city center.

A bit out of the way.

But there were still plenty of people who came here to shop.

The nearest subway station was 1000 feet away from the alley entrance.

A car stopped at the alley entrance, almost blocking half of the alley.

Passersby couldn't help but curse the driver for being inconsiderate.

At this moment, in the third shop.

The shop was called Thread & Theory.

It was a clothing store.

A woman was bent over, drawing a design. Her thick, curled eyelashes were lowered, her fair skin seemed to have a delicate porcelain glaze. Her eyes were clear as dew, her nose perfectly arched, and a strand of hair fell beside her ear as she bowed her head. In the sunlight, she looked like a fairy. Everyone around was mesmerized.

She was focused on her design, completely ignoring the young woman speaking beside her.

This was Ember Stone, the HR manager of U&M.

"Miss Faye, what do you think? You can name your conditions. If you join U&M, we can offer you the most generous compensation and a complete, independent design studio. Here's the contract, Miss Faye, please take a look."

Ember had received a call last night, hadn't slept a wink, and finally found this address. She had prepared the agreement early in the morning and rushed over to discuss the terms, but Matilda seemed completely uninterested in U&M.

Ember was under pressure from above, with Rebecca's strict orders.

"Miss Faye, if there's anything you're not satisfied with, feel free to say it. Whatever conditions you set, U&M will agree."

Matilda finally looked up.

Ember stared at her face and was momentarily stunned.

She hadn't expected Matilda to have a scar on her left cheek, about an inch long, near her forehead. Ember thought, no wonder she covered the left side with her hair.

Such a stunning beauty, yet she was disfigured.

Ember quickly masked her surprise and said, "Miss Faye, we are sincere in our offer. Please consider it."

Matilda spoke then, her voice slightly raspy. "I don't need to consider it. I won't sign the contract." She looked at Ember. "You can leave now."
