Chapter 211 Who Is He
Alice was taken aback. "Natalie, you are really drunk. I'll take you back right now." Saying that, she ignored everything else, pushed Daniel aside, helped Natalie up, and walked out.
Everyone else looked at each other in astonishment. Today, the Howard family had invited quite a few people to the beach party, and many had gotten tickets through connections. Even Alice had given out a few. Many of the men from prominent families who came were known for their wild lifestyles.
Immediately, a few glances fell on Rex and Sam Wheeler. These two were notorious for changing girlfriends frequently,, always having many female companions.
Sam said, "Oh man, I don't really remember. Haha, I've been with so many women this year, it's hard to keep track. But..." He looked at Natalie. "She's so pretty, if I had been with her, I should remember."
"Rex, come on, be honest, was it you? Hahaha."
The group burst into laughter.
Rex waved his hand. "How would I know?"
He had changed four girlfriends in the past month.
He couldn't even remember what the first one looked like.
The group started joking and laughing about the topic, referring to words like disgusting, vain, and abortion.
Suddenly, a panicked female voice was heard. "Ah! Mr. Howard, your hand!"
Adrian suddenly crushed the glass in his hand, mixing blood with shards of glass.
Blood droplets gushed out and fell to the ground.
A girl covered her mouth. "Mr. Howard..."
The surroundings fell into a sudden silence.
Those who had been chatting and laughing moments ago didn't dare to make a sound, fearing to upset Adrian.
What was wrong with Adrian?
Why did he suddenly get so angry?
Adrian picked up a bottle of wine with his other hand and downed it in one go. After finishing the bottle, he stood up, exhaled slowly, feeling a cold breeze on his chest, and closed his eyes. The words he had just heard still echoed in his mind.
"Mr. Howard, your hand needs to be bandaged..." the girl said bravely, but when her gaze met Adrian's cold eyes, she shivered, not daring to speak again.
Adrian's cold eyes swept over Sandra, Diana, and Stephanie, who had just been discussing the matter, and finally landed on Rex and Sam. He clenched his fists, the pain from his left hand bringing him back to his senses.
He stood up and walked forward with large strides.
After Adrian left, the others on the beach sighed in relief. Adrian's gaze had been terrifying.
"What happened to Mr. Howard?"
"Who knows, maybe he got drunk."
"Oh my God, his gaze was so scary just now."
"His hand seems to still be bleeding."
Daniel supported Natalie as they walked towards the hotel. Since the hotel was on the island, they needed a yacht to get from the beach to the hotel, which would take a few minutes. Before boarding the yacht, Alice said, "Mr. Murphy, let me handle this. After all, Natalie is a girl; it's not appropriate for a man to enter a woman's room."
Daniel thought about it and agreed with Alice, nodding. "Ms. Cullen, I'll leave it to you then."
The driver immediately started the yacht.
Alice looked at Natalie. "Natalie, we agreed that this matter is a secret."
Natalie wasn't very drunk. Although the alcohol made her uncomfortable, she wasn't completely out of it. "Oh? A secret? To bring up my scars and humiliate me in every way possible, just to make you look gentle and virtuous?
Natalie added, "My first time, my child. Alice, you know better than I do who that man is. I can tolerate you once or twice, but I won't tolerate it endlessly."
She was human too, and she knew pain.
Even if she had endured it many times, even if she had become numb, it still hurt.
