Just then, the doors to the banquet hall swung open.
Natalie stepped in, instantly grabbing everyone's attention.
She was rocking a black sequined sheer evening gown, her waist looking tiny and her back practically glowing under the crystal lights. Her hairstyle was simple, just long curls, making her look like some kind of elegant queen. But the real showstopper was her eyes where were decorated with diamonds. It wasn't over the top; it just made her features pop.
Pretty soon, Natalie's makeup was trending, and everyone was talking about it.
Beauty bloggers were all over it, trying to copy her look. But Natalie's sharp bone structure made the diamonds really shine, adding a touch of magic to her already stunning face. She was like a magnet, drawing the eyes of almost everyone in the room. Some people were in awe, while others were clearly jealous.
Hearing a gasp, Alice glanced at Diana, then followed her gaze to the entrance and frowned. "What's Natalie doing here?"
Seeing Alice's sour expression, Diana quickly said, "She must've snuck in. So shameless, unlike you, who actually has an invite." Diana's sucking up made her forget she had also snuck in.
Alice pursed her lips. "Just my luck to run into Natalie."
Diana quickly added, "Don't worry about her, Alice. Come on, let's take some more pictures."
Alice immediately struck a pose for Diana's camera.
Meanwhile, a bunch of socialites were buzzing.
"Who's that woman? Her style is amazing. Who's her stylist?"
"Her makeup is on point. It's so clear, but she went bold with those diamond decorations around her eyes."
"Why does she look just like Alice?"
A lot of people noticed how much Natalie resembled Alice.
But tonight, Alice's makeup was heavy, and her fancy evening gown was a bit much. The diamond tiara on her head didn't help; it was too flashy and overshadowed her actual beauty.
"Have you noticed how much Alice and Natalie look alike? I heard they looked similar, but this is crazy."
"Could Natalie be some secret love child of the Cullen family? Even real sisters don't look this much alike!"
Hearing "secret love child," Alice gritted her teeth and glared at the socialite who said it.
The socialite who said that seemed to sense it, turned around, and looked at Alice. With her high status, she wasn't scared of Alice at all. "Do you really think everyone has to bow down to you?"
Alice's face went pale. Even with the Howard family's backing, she couldn't compete with these socialites. Seeing everyone focused on Natalie, she took a deep breath and whispered something in Diana's ear.
