Chapter 786 What is His Relationship with Her?
Natalie looked at Bella and said, "Hey, Nicholas is here."
Bella's fingers shook, and she went pale.
She stood up and started packing her suitcase.
"Let's get out of here," Bella said.
Natalie nodded. "Cassidy's in the living room with some socialite."
Bella replied, "Probably the young daughter from the Price family."
"The Price family?" Natalie asked.
"Yeah," Bella explained. "Commander Price's granddaughter. She's here for a blind date with Nicholas. We should leave while we can."
Bella didn't have much stuff, just two suitcases. Most of her clothes were still at home.
She glanced back at the bedroom. The past few months felt like a dream.
They headed downstairs and slipped out through the side door.
Natalie called Derek, asking him to bring the car around to the side door.
Just then, Nicholas and Aurelia came out, too.
Aurelia immediately recognized Derek, the guy sitting on the bench at the Reynolds family's entrance.
Since that day, Aurelia had tried to find out more about him but came up empty.
A week had passed, and she didn't expect to see Derek again.
Aurelia wanted to rush over and say hi, but with Nicholas right there, she held back.
Aurelia and Nicholas walked a few steps before splitting up. Earlier, Cassidy had asked Nicholas to take Aurelia outside for some alone time.
Aurelia didn't want to marry Nicholas; she couldn't stand him. He was an idle, unambitious playboy. Nicholas didn't want to marry her, either.
So they just put on a show for Cassidy and then got into their own cars.
Aurelia watched Derek get into his car and quickly told her driver to follow, but they lost him. Derek had vanished.
Aurelia got out of the car. The villa area was huge, with most houses being three-story mansions. Many wealthy folks in Vachilit lived here.
She was ready to give up when she spotted Derek at the back door of the Reynolds mansion. She didn't approach but watched from a distance.
Aurelia saw Derek helping a woman with her suitcase. She thought, 'That woman kinda looks like someone from the Reynolds family. What's Derek's deal with her? It can't be romantic.'
Thinking this, Aurelia smiled and reassured herself, 'Derek probably doesn't have a girlfriend yet. That woman must be Bella from the Reynolds family, and Derek is either her driver or a good friend.'
Then another woman showed up. It was the woman Aurelia had seen at the Reynolds Villa's entrance earlier, the woman who looked kinda familiar to her. She was tall and slender. The woman handed Derek a bottle of water while wearing a mask. Aurelia pursed her lips. Seeing Derek close with this woman, she got into her car feeling a bit down.
Not long after, a black BMW drove by.
Aurelia memorized the license plate number.
She called her brother, "Hey, can you check a license plate number for me?"
"What's up? Who pissed you off? I'll handle it."
Aurelia said, "No, I just need you to check a license plate number."
"Oh, I thought someone had ticked you off, and you remembered their plate out of spite."
Aurelia urged, "Come on, just help me out."
"Alright, hold on. I'll get it for you."
Aurelia's third brother was a well-known computer whiz, running a game development company and being super skilled with computers. In less than ten minutes, a message popped up on Aurelia's phone.
