Chapter 1035 Three Rings
Inside Dynamic Entertainment, things were pretty chaotic thanks to Natalie and Adrian's upcoming wedding.
These days, Natalie's crew basically ran the show at Dynamic.
Finnian was the president.
Heather and Karen were the vice presidents.
Mindy had left to start her own company, which made Finnian the biggest winner in all this.
In the office, Penelope was perched on Finnian's lap. "Natalie's incredible! She's actually the Howard family's hostess and is marrying Mr. Howard."
Finnian was floored. He was sweating bullets. Natalie had promoted him, but he had had a few tricks up his sleeve to try and control her. Luckily, she didn't seem to care or notice. Back then, he had thought she was just one of Adrian's flings and would be tossed aside soon enough.
Finnian asked, "Have you ever ticked off Natalie?"
Penelope quickly replied, "Ever since you told me she made you president, I've been steering clear of her."
"Good," Finnian said, wiping his forehead. "Just keep being respectful. Don't cross her or fight over resources."
"I got it, no need to remind me. Chill out."
Finnian couldn't get Natalie on the phone, so he called Heather to show he was on her side. Heather was tight with Natalie, and Finnian had given her a lot of power and resources. Heather was now scouting new talent, and Finnian's help was perfect. Heather knew exactly what he was up to.
Karen also quickly showed her support for Heather.
Dynamic Entertainment was going to be Natalie's turf. Karen was relieved she'd backed the right horse. If she'd sided with Alice, she'd be toast, and everything would've gone to Mindy.
But now, Mindy was probably struggling. Leaving a big company like Dynamic meant facing a tough market with limited resources and opportunities. Dynamic wasn't about to let agents walk away with their resources and talent.
Mindy had broken industry rules. Now, she only had a few newbies and some web series projects.
Natalie and Adrian's wedding was coming up fast.
In the past few days, they'd been picking out wedding rings.
In a ring store, Natalie said, "Didn't you already give me a ring?"
"One's not enough," Adrian replied.
"I can't wear that many rings."
The wedding ring was custom-made by Adrian a month ago, featuring a huge, flawless diamond, perfectly crafted.
The men's ring was a simple band with a small, high-purity square diamond.
"Do you like it?" Adrian asked.
"Of course I do. But this diamond ring is too big. I can't wear it while filming, and stringing the ring into a necklace like last time and puting it on my neck is uncomfortable."
Adrian said, "I've given you three rings: a pearl ring, a diamond ring, and now this one."
Natalie still vaguely remembered the pearl ring, made from a pearl she'd picked herself when they went to the island together.
