Chapter 963 The Reynolds Family Will

"As long as he doesn't hurt Bella, it's all good. I'm just worried he might think Bella's spying for Cassidy and hurt her," Natalie said.

"Don't stress too much. Take care of yourself. If I hear anything, I'll have Derek let you know right away," Adrian replied.

As the fashion gala wrapped up, they set aside a half-hour for a group photo.

At first, Natalie was in the middle but not the limelight. But during the shoot, Madeline suddenly grabbed her arm and smiled warmly, shifting Natalie to the center spot. Meanwhile, Wendy ended up on the edge, looking pretty ticked off.

Madeline clearly wasn't going to be nice to Wendy after what Wendy had done.

Wendy couldn't refuse to be in the big group photo, but her face was livid. She glared at Natalie, her jealousy growing.

Bella had been stuck at Golden Crest Manor for days, not even allowed to step into the garden.

She could only move around the living room, and even the balcony was off-limits. Nicholas was clearly terrified she'd escape.

Liliana took good care of her, bringing her three meals a day, but Bella couldn't eat.

Her phone and all other communication devices were taken away, even her bracelet. No electronics allowed.

She tried to log into Facebook on her tablet to contact Natalie, but the internet was monitored.

One day, Bella had enough and lost her temper.

When Liliana brought breakfast, Bella refused to eat. "I want to see Nicholas! Get him here!"

For five days, she had no news from the outside world, feeling completely isolated.

'I can't even go to the garden. I'm not a prisoner!' Bella thought.

"Ms. Swan, please eat something. You didn't eat much for breakfast, and you're pregnant. Eat for the sake of your child" Liliana, sensing Bella's strong dissatisfaction, started calling her Ms. Swan instead of Mrs. Reynolds.

Bella snapped, "I'm not eating. I want to see Nicholas. If he doesn't come, I won't eat."

Liliana had no choice but to use the intercom to call Nicholas, trying to prevent Bella from starving herself.

A few minutes later, Liliana put down the phone. "Mr. Reynolds said he'll be here in two hours."

In a private high-end clinic.

Inside the consultation room, the handsome Nicholas closed his eyes slightly.

He unbuttoned his shirt while a doctor beside him changed his bandage. Upon closer inspection, Nicholas had a gunshot wound on his waist, with blood continuously seeping out, looking quite serious. During the bandage change, he groaned softly and opened his eyes slightly.

The doctor finished changing the bandage and advised, "Nicholas, you can't let this wound get wet anymore, or it'll be trouble."

Nicholas's face was pale, and his lips were bloodless. He didn't say a word, just nodded.

It rained last night, and Nicholas had been kneeling in front of the Reynolds Villa all night.

Cassidy, now without any scruples, found an excuse to punish him.

Nicholas had had this gunshot wound for three days. At night, he tried to steal something from Cassidy's safe on the second floor but was discovered by Ellsworth. Although Ellsworth didn't catch him, he still got shot.

Cassidy was deliberately testing Nicholas, making him kneel in the rain all night with any random excuse.

The doctor asked, "Did you get what you want?"

Nicholas shook his head. "No, but I saw something."

"What?" the doctor asked.

"My father's will. Cassidy forged it."

"What are you going to do?"
