Chapter 335 A Gift for You
Natalie watched Adrian for a couple of seconds and noticed he was wearing a Rolex.
She'd been working here for six months and had seen all kinds of men, but a young guy with a Rolex was rare. Adrian had good taste.
Her fingers were cool as she touched Adrian's hand, and despite being careful, their hands brushed while she unfastened the watch.
Natalie took off Adrian's watch and placed it on the table.
Colby looked around and then focused on Natalie. "Betting on win or lose is boring. Natalie, who do you think will win this round?"
Everyone turned to Natalie, except Adrian, who had his back to her.
Natalie coughed and thought for a moment. "I've only seen Mr. Howard's cards, so I'll bet on him."
"You haven't seen my cards, so why do you bet on Adrian? Hey, Natalie, do you think our cards are worse than his?"
Natalie just smiled.
Colby said, "Alright, why argue with a waitress? Let's see if we can beat Adrian this round."
Natalie stepped back and watched the game.
In poker, good cards help, but predicting the opponent's moves is key.
Adrian's cards were bad, but he could still win if the opponent slipped up.
Arnold frowned, spread his hands, and threw his cards on the table. "I give up."
He had two high cards but couldn't use them.
Adrian had played his bad cards quickly, leaving Arnold stuck with his high cards.
Arnold said, "Adrian, you're impressive."
"Of course, no one can beat Adrian. Only he can win with bad cards. If Owen were playing, he might lose big tonight."
Owen, who was singing with a woman, turned around. "Don't be so confident. I'll come over later and make you all lose to me!"
"Dream on, we're waiting for you!"
Adrian stood up, picked up a key, and tossed it to Natalie, then sat on the sofa.
Natalie caught the keys. "For me?"
She looked around and saw Adrian rubbing his temples on the sofa.
"Adrian gave it to you, so just take it," Colby said. "This car is Arnold's new one, less than a month old. Natalie, you can drive it to and from work. It's convenient."
Arnold looked at Natalie, then at Colby. "Colby, what does this mean? Adrian gave her my car."
"Don't you get it?" Colby chuckled. "Haven't you ever pursued someone? What do you think Adrian means?"
Arnold nodded. "Oh, I get it. Adrian is pursuing her. This waitress is indeed beautiful, fitting Adrian's taste."
