Chapter 1161 The Extraordinarily Vivid Red Rose

Their relationship was quite tense now.

Violette went to rest in the bedroom on the first floor.

The light was on in the living room, and only Adrian was there.

Adrian sat on the sofa like a statue, maintaining the same posture. After about ten minutes, he stood up and took Natalie's bag upstairs.

He returned to the bedroom.

Adrian couldn't help but slow down his movements.

He placed Natalie's phone on the bedside table, where he habitually put his phone.

Just as he put it down, Natalie's phone screen lit up, indicating a text message.

But Adrian's eyes were not on the message; they were on the phone's wallpaper.

Because it was a photo of him and Natalie.

Both of them were smiling a bit foolishly.

Natalie looked very cute, her eyes curved when she smiled, and dimples appeared at the corners of her mouth.

As for himself, he almost didn't recognize the person in the photo.

He had never smiled so brightly.

Adrian wanted to take another look, but the phone screen went dark.

He picked up Natalie's phone, grabbed her finger, and unlocked it.

The wallpaper that appeared was warm and sweet.

Both of them were smiling a bit foolishly, but the smiles were genuine.

Adrian stared at the photo for several seconds, lost in thought.

At that moment, another message came through.

[Natalie, I accidentally sent the wrong photo earlier. Sorry about that, please don't misunderstand me and Adrian.]

Adrian frowned.

The sender's name was not saved.

But Adrian recognized the phone number; he could almost recite it by heart.

It was Andrea's.

He remembered Natalie asking him if he liked Andrea, if he was with Andrea.

He opened the message box, and the top message was the one Andrea had just sent.

There were a total of three messages.

One was telling Natalie that Andrea had gone to the hospital with him that afternoon.

One was a picture of Adrian and Andrea at the hospital, with Adrian holding Andrea's hand.

The last one was the recent message.

Could this be why Natalie misunderstood him?

He looked at the messages, lost in thought.

If he didn't know this number was Andrea's, he wouldn't have believed Andrea would send such messages to Natalie.

Andrea, who was always gentle and well-behaved in front of him, seemed like a different person.

Adrian felt a bit unfamiliar with her.

He glanced at Natalie lying on the bed. Perhaps due to the alcohol, she was sleeping soundly.

But she was restless in her sleep, and the blanket kept slipping off. Adrian helped cover her up.

She was sleeping very sweetly.

Adrian watched her sleeping face for a long time, then got up and went to the small balcony outside.

Outside the master bedroom was a small balcony with a coffee table and two iron-framed fabric chairs. Adrian would occasionally sit there and have some coffee.

At this moment, he looked at the night outside the window.

It was already early morning.

The night was deep.

The lights in the entire garden were on, and from this angle, he could see the bright red roses in the garden, made even more vivid by the bright lights.
