Chapter 1318 No News, Urgent Situation
Callum also realized the seriousness of the situation.
Rachel was missing, and it was highly likely that she was in danger.
Natalie took out her phone and immediately called Adrian.
Adrian answered quickly, "I'm here."
"Rachel and my assistant Beatrix have been out of contact since they went out on Saturday."
Adrian immediately asked, "Where are you now?"
"In Suncrest City."
Adrian started his private jet and landed in Suncrest City four hours later.
All work was postponed.
Nothing was more important than Rachel's sudden disappearance.
Natalie looked at Adrian and hurried over, "My assistant Beatrix went out with Rachel, and now neither of them can be reached."
She pressed her lips together, "Adrian, have you told the family about this? Do Joe and Claire know? Does Ruben know?"
Adrian shook his head, "I haven't told Ruben, Joe, or Claire yet. I don't want them to worry. I'll tell them once we have some progress."
After all, everything was still unknown.
How could two adults suddenly disappear?
Callum walked in, "I tracked Rachel's phone. The location isn't clear, but it shows she's in Suncrest City."
Adrian immediately sent out a large-scale search team and contacted the Suncrest City police right away.
By 11 PM, Brice brought news from the police, saying that several girls who attended a gathering that day had also gone missing.
Natalie suddenly remembered the time she was kidnapped and met Anouk.
In crowded places like this, if you're not careful, you can easily fall into danger. Especially since Rachel is very attractive, she likely became a target for human trafficking organizations.
Later that night, Callum called.
Natalie and Adrian stayed up all night.
Callum and Brice were also out gathering information.
Callum's call revealed the location of Beatrix's phone.
As soon as Natalie and Adrian got the news, they followed up. Heather, worried and unable to sleep, joined them. Lloyd drove them all the way to the southern outskirts of Suncrest City.
There were many factories in the area, with a street lined with shops.
Behind this commercial street were various steel mills and chemical plants.
The air was filled with the mixed smells of various chemical fertilizers.
A phone repair shop had its lights on.
The owner was trembling as he looked at the group.
He had just been playing poker with some friends in the backyard when a car suddenly arrived, and several men in black got out.
He thought they were there to collect a loan, but he only owed thirty thousand dollars, and the collection date wasn't today.
And now, another car had arrived.
Heather looked at a white phone on the table, "This is it. This is Beatrix's phone. Where is Beatrix? How do you have her phone?"
Adrian narrowed his eyes at the bald shop owner.
Callum twisted the shop owner's arm behind his back, causing him to cry out in pain, "I really don't know! I'm just a phone repairman. The phone was brought here, and I just fixed it."
Heather gripped Beatrix's phone tightly, "Then who brought it here? You must know that!"
Callum applied more pressure, "Speak!"
The bald shop owner seemed hesitant, afraid to say anything. He kept insisting, "I really don't know. I'm just a businessman, just a phone repairman. I don't know anything!"
