Chapter 1039 Don't Wake Milo
Susan couldn't help but glance at Isabella's neck. "The evidence is right there, and you still won't admit it?"
Noticing Susan's glance, Isabella instinctively touched her neck and immediately understood. It must have been the hickeys Leon left from last night. Her face turned blush.
Seeing this, Susan teased, "Still trying to play tricks in front of me? Not so stubborn now, are you? I knew you two would make up last night."
With her lie exposed, Isabella didn't bother to hide it. She raised her chin and said, "I knew you were experienced. My weak tricks are nothing in front of you."
"Alright, making up is good. I was worried you two would keep fighting, making it hard for Milo too." Susan finally smiled.
Hearing this, Isabella smiled. She thought to herself, 'Susan understands me best. No matter how angry or determined I am, I can't resist Leon's words or looks. It seems I'm really under his spell for life.'
Though she thought this, a smile had already formed on Isabella's lips.
Seeing Isabella smile, Susan patted her hand. "Alright, now that everything's settled, you and Leon should just live well together."
"Okay." Isabella nodded.
Unexpectedly, at that moment, the bedroom door was suddenly pushed open.
Isabella looked up to see Leon walking in with a frown.
"Hurry up and pack. We're going home!" Leon didn't even glance at Susan, speaking directly to Isabella.
Hearing this, Isabella was startled and frowned. "Why the rush? What happened?"
Sensing the tension in Isabella's eyes, Leon stepped forward and held her shoulders. "Don't worry, nothing happened. I just don't want to be teased in someone else's house. We have our own home. Hurry up, pack, and let's take Milo home!"
Hearing his confusing statement, Isabella looked up to see Seb walking in with a deep smile.
"What's going on?" Susan stepped forward, frowning.
Seb looked at Leon and smiled. "I just teased him a bit, and he got all worked up, insisting on moving out. Fine, let him move out."
Though Seb's tone was teasing and dissatisfied, his eyes were full of blessings for Leon.
Hearing this, Susan immediately understood and pulled Seb's hand. "Well, I'm starving. Let's go have breakfast and not disturb them packing."
"Yeah, I'm hungry too." Seb smiled, glanced at Leon, and left with Susan.
After the door closed, Isabella frowned and asked, "Are we really moving out now?"
Hearing this, Leon glanced at the door and then whispered in Isabella's ear, "I'm just scaring them so they won't tease us anymore."
Hearing this, Isabella smiled. "So when are we moving?"
Leon hugged Isabella's waist and whispered in her ear, "We'll have breakfast here first before we go!"
"Sounds good." Isabella nodded immediately.
Half an hour later, Leon and Isabella, holding Milo, appeared in the Anderson family's dining room.
Seb and Susan, leisurely enjoying breakfast, looked up to see Leon and Isabella sitting at the table. They exchanged a glance.
Then, Seb looked at Leon in surprise and asked, "Didn't you say you were moving out immediately?"
Leon pulled out a chair for Isabella, placed the utensils in her hand, and instructed, "Feed Milo more."
"Okay." Isabella nodded obediently.
The next moment, Leon sat in a chair next to Isabella and finally answered, "We decided to have one more breakfast here before moving out!"
Hearing this, Susan couldn't help but laugh. "Alright, but we're not making your lunch."
"We'll have lunch at our own home." Isabella glanced at Leon, echoing his words.
For a moment, the dining room was filled only with the sounds of chewing and laughter.
Near noon, Isabella finally placed the sleeping Milo in his crib at home.
Just as she was about to stretch her tired back, a pair of arms hugged her from behind.
The embrace was so familiar that Isabella didn't need to look to know who it was. She couldn't help but smile.
"It's nice to be at home." Leon, hugging her from behind, sighed.
Isabella smiled. "I don't feel out of place at Susan's, but it's just not as comfortable as home."
"Exactly, at their house, I didn't even dare to make any noise." With that, Leon lowered his head and kissed Isabella's neck.
Feeling a tickle, Isabella tried to pry his hands off her waist.
But he held her tightly, not letting go.
"What are you doing? Milo just fell asleep," Sensing his intention, Isabella complained.
Leon chuckled. "I've been waiting for Milo to fall asleep for a long time."
"Stop it, it's broad daylight," Isabella scolded.
Leon turned to face her, lowered his head, and sealed her lips.
Isabella couldn't resist and had to give in. "Keep it down, Kathy is still outside tidying up!"
"Get it."
"Keep it down, don't wake Milo!"
"Get it."
No matter what Isabella said, Leon always answered the same.
In the end, Isabella had no choice but to let him have his way.
Much later, the room was silent except for the sound of Leon and Isabella's breathing.
She lay in his arms, her hand on his chest, murmuring, "Let's never fight again."
"Okay." Leon's hand grasped hers on his chest.
"And no more silent treatments," Isabella added.
"Okay." Leon nodded repeatedly.
"And don't keep things from me." After a long time, Isabella suddenly thought of another rule and looked up.
Leon looked at Isabella, holding her hand tighter. "I won't."
Only then did a satisfied smile appear on Isabella's face.
She rested her face on his chest, closed her eyes, and said, "Spend more time with me and Milo from now on."
"Of course." Leon's hand held hers tightly.
Although Leon promised Isabella to spend more time with her, the merger of the two major groups kept Leon and Seb extremely busy. However, aside from work, Leon tried to push away all social engagements, striving to be home on time every night.
