The next morning, Isabella energetically pushed open the door to Susan's office and walked in.
"Why are you so happy? Did you see your Leon?" Susan looked up and examined Isabella, who was glowing.
Hearing this, Isabella laughed and said, "I wish! He called me for ten minutes in the middle of the night, and that made me really happy!"
"Leon really has you wrapped around his finger. A ten-minute call can make you so ecstatic," Susan teased.
"You were the same way back then!" Isabella shot Susan a look.

"What? You're treating me to BBQ for lunch?" Isabella suddenly asked with a big smile.
"If you don't spill, I'll change my mind," Susan said, crossing her arms over her chest.
"Alright, alright, for the sake of BBQ, I'll tell you right away," Isabella laughed and continued, "Leon told me Seb did three things: first, he reported to the police and submitted evidence, leading to Andrew's arrest; then he successfully rescued the workers from the landslide accident; and finally, the chairman and CEO of Evergreen Ventures Group were taken away to assist in the investigation."
"I already know all that," Susan said eagerly.
Isabella laughed and said, "Let me tell you slowly. After these three things happened, first, Prosperity Group's reputation was saved; then Evergreen Ventures Group's stock plummeted; Andrew and Evergreen Ventures Group's plan to crush Prosperity completely backfired. Oh, and guess what? Prosperity Group's stock is back on the market today!"
"What? It resumes trading today?" As she spoke, Susan opened her computer and navigated to the stock page.
When Susan found Prosperity Group's stock, she couldn't help but touch her chin and say, "It's hit the upper limit!"
"Really?" Isabella walked over to Susan, glanced at the computer, and saw that Prosperity Group's stock was indeed all in the red, having hit the upper limit.

"Weren't you the one who always advised me to break up with him? Why are you speaking well of him now?" Susan looked up and stared at Isabella.

"I'm done explaining myself to him," Susan stated flatly. "He can think what he wants."
"You're just being stubborn!" Isabella shook her head.
"And don't even mention his name again," Susan snapped, burying herself in her work. "It makes me sick to my stomach."
Isabella, feeling the sting of rejection, stood there speechless for a moment. "Well, excuse me for trying to help," she finally huffed. "You're the one who grilled me about Seb and his company, and now that you have your precious information, you treat me like yesterday's news. Some friend you are."
Hearing Isabella's protest, Susan had no choice but to pat Isabella's hand. "Alright, alright, I'll treat you to BBQ for lunch. Now hurry up and get to work, or we won't be able to leave on time!"
"Hmph!" Isabella snorted, then turned and left the office.
Watching Isabella's departing figure, Susan shook her head with a smile, then leaned back in her swivel chair, holding her water cup, lost in thought.
