On the other hand, George and Maria were a different story. One was eating with his head down, while the other just watched, barely eating and almost not communicating at all.
Suddenly, Seb looked up at George across the table and said, "George, the money from Evergreen Ventures Group has been transferred to my account today. I'll have Leon transfer your principal and interest to your account tomorrow."
Hearing this, George looked up and said, "Thanks. I appreciate it."
"Don't mention it. I owe you one." Seb said with a smile.
George replied, "It was a business transaction, Seb. Nothing more."
"I'll remember this favor," Seb said, pointing to his chest.
George said, "Don't sweat it."
As he said this, George's gaze fell on Susan.
His gaze was complex yet focused, making Susan very uncomfortable, so she quickly lowered her head to avoid looking at him.
Maria noticed George staring at Susan without blinking, frowned slightly, and also lowered her head.
Seb frowned slightly and then said, "If you ever need anything, just come to me."
After saying this, Seb turned to Susan and said, "I think we've eaten enough. Let's leave early, shall we?"
"Sure," Susan quickly nodded. She didn't like the atmosphere here anyway.
The next moment, Susan stood up, and Seb considerately picked up her coat and helped her put it on. Susan could only reluctantly accept.
At this moment, George also stood up. Maria knew they were about to leave, so she quickly got up and brought George's coat to him.

Seb and Susan walked out of the hotel and stood on the steps waiting for their car.
Soon, George came out, glanced at them, and went to the parking lot to get his car, while Maria stood behind Susan and Seb.

George also drove up. After getting out of the car and seeing Susan and Maria talking, he walked straight over.
