Chapter 426 Rogue

Leon rolled up in the sleek black Bentley, pulling up right in front of Seb and Susan.

He hopped out, swung around to the back door, and opened it up for them.

Seb and Susan shared a quick look, and Seb slid in first.

Susan just stood there, watching Seb get in, not making a move.

Seb shot her a grin over his shoulder.

Leon caught the whole vibe, chuckled, and scratched his nose.

Out of nowhere, Seb reached out and grabbed Susan's wrist!

"You..." Susan started to say, but Seb yanked her into the car before she could finish.

Leon quickly shut the door behind her.

Susan landed right in Seb's lap, and before she could even think about getting up, the car started rolling.

She tried to push him away and sit up, but Seb wasn't having it. He just held her by the waist and kept her on his lap.

Realizing where she was, Susan's face turned red. "What are you doing? Leon's right there! This is so embarrassing. Let me go!"

Seb just stared at her, totally ignoring her protests.

"Did you hear me?" She gave his shoulder a couple of anxious pats.

Seb just smirked and hit a button.

A black screen slid down, splitting the car into two separate spaces.

Susan, blushing even more, gave him a shove. "What are you doing? Leon's gonna laugh at us."

Seb hugged her tighter and kissed her cheek. "If he laughs, he's fired!"

Susan shot him a warning look. "Don't mess around."

"Messing around? Nah, anything I do to you is serious business." Seb's hand slipped under her blouse.

"What are you doing? Let me go." Susan squirmed and pushed at him.

But to Seb, her resistance just made her look even cuter, like a feisty little kitten. It drove him wild, and his breath got all ragged.

He couldn't hold back anymore and kissed her hard.

The kiss was intense, wild, and full of passion. After a few rounds, Susan was too weak to fight back, melting into his arms.

All their pent-up feelings and misunderstandings poured out in that kiss, neither of them wanting to stop.

Seb pressed her down on the spacious car seat, his hands wandering under her skirt.

Susan, panting, pressed her hands against his chest. "Seb, no!"

Seeing her flushed face, Seb smiled, laced his fingers with hers, and kept kissing her neck.

"The preschool... we're almost there, get up!" Susan, worried he'd take things too far, quickly pushed him away.

This time, Seb let her go.

She glanced out the window and saw they were almost at Hayden's preschool. She quickly straightened her clothes and fixed her hair.

As she was fixing her long hair, something shiny caught her eye on her left hand.

She brought her hand up and saw a sapphire ring on her finger. She had no idea when it got there.

Susan stared at the ring, wide-eyed, trying to figure out when Seb had slipped it on.

Thinking back, it must've been when he intertwined his fingers with hers earlier.

She turned to look at Seb, who was sitting by the window, looking all serious at the scenery outside but with a smug smile on his lips.

"You put this on me secretly?" Susan glared at him.

Seb glanced at the ring and grinned. "You were so into it just now, so I had the perfect chance."

Susan's face turned red. She was annoyed she hadn't noticed, letting him get one over on her, and now he was teasing her.

"You're so annoying!" She reached to take the ring off.

But Seb grabbed her hand. "You've got my ring on, which means you agreed to marry me. No take-backs!"

Susan looked down, a smile tugging at her lips. "Who said I agreed? You forced it on me."

Seeing her shy look, Seb pulled her into his arms.

Susan rested her head on his shoulder, feeling genuinely happy.

"Not mad anymore?" Seb whispered in her ear.

"Not that easy. I'm still mad." Susan said, touching her chest.

Seb's eyes twinkled mischievously. "Let me check if there's still any anger."

"Rogue! Have some decency!" She slapped his hand away as he reached for her chest.

Seb sighed dramatically. "It's tough being a guy. If you're not bad, you don't get any love. If you're a bit bad, you're a rogue with no decency."

Just then, the car slowed to a stop at the preschool entrance. "Alright, Hayden's coming out. Let's get out."

Susan opened the door, ready to step out.

But Seb pulled her back.

"What's up?" Susan turned, confused.

Seb gently fixed a strand of hair by her ear. "Your hair's messy."

Seeing the tenderness in his eyes, Susan's heart melted, but now wasn't the time for romance. She lowered her head slightly. "The kid's coming out. Let's go."

Hand in hand, they walked to the preschool entrance.

There were a bunch of people waiting to pick up their kids.

In front of so many people, Seb held her hand tight, making Susan a bit self-conscious, her face slightly blushing.

She glanced at Seb, who was calm, his eyes eagerly watching the kids bounce out.

Standing beside him, Susan felt her heart swell.

Happiness was really this simple—welcoming their little one with the person they loved.
