Seeing his somewhat dejected back, Susan couldn't help but chuckle.
Why was Seb acting like a child now?
The next moment, Susan suddenly looked down at the fruit plate on her lap.
In the transparent glass fruit plate, there were several kinds of fruits: apples, oranges, and watermelon.

"What are we having for breakfast tomorrow?" Susan found herself making small talk.
"Waffles, porridge, and vegetable salad," Seb replied.
"Isn't that too much trouble for breakfast?" Susan frowned slightly.
Waffles were her favorite, and it was really considerate of him to make them for her in the morning.
At that moment, Seb turned around and smiled at Susan. "I'll prepare everything tonight, so it'll be easy to make in the morning."
"When did you learn to make waffles? It's not an easy task," Susan asked.
Seb smirked and said, "I had no choice. Since the mother of my children loves them, I had to find an expert to teach me."
At that moment, his eyes were exceptionally bright, staring straight at her, making Susan feel touched.
No, she couldn't be too moved. This was a sign of her completely falling for him.
The next moment, Susan quickly said, "Take your time, I'm going back to watch the show."
Then, Susan swiftly left the kitchen.
Seb watched her back and chuckled to himself.
Susan sat on the couch, eyes on the TV, eating fruit, but feeling a bit uneasy.
Susan really didn't know what to do with him.
Before long, the TV screen showed a vast blue sea, white sandy beach, flying seagulls, and the male and female leads walking hand in hand on the beach.
Seeing this picturesque scene, Susan muttered to herself, "The scenery is so beautiful, unlike Maple Valley, which is still so cold!"
"What's so difficult about that? We can go to Ivory City right now," Seb said, having already walked to the coffee table without her noticing.
Hearing this, Susan looked up at Seb. "How is that possible? It's almost New Year's."
"Why not? I'll have Leon book the tickets right away." With that, Seb took out his phone to make a call.
"Isn't Prosperity Group still open?" Susan asked, putting her feet down.
"I can arrange for the vice president to handle things at Prosperity Group for a couple of days. Didn't your firm close for the holidays today?" Seb countered.
Hearing this, Susan looked down, still hesitant.
"I didn't think we'd be going anywhere, so I didn't apply for an Aelistanian visa," he continued, his voice persuasive. "Ivory City it is. Think about it, blue skies, crystal clear water, warm sunshine... We can relax, recharge, and start the new year fresh."
Hearing this, Susan was indeed tempted. Thinking about the cold weather in Maple Valley, it would be so nice to wear a dress and walk on a warm beach!
At that moment, Seb had already connected with Leon.
"Leon, have Ellie book three tickets to Ivory City for me, Susan, and you. We're spending New Year's in Ivory City this year," Seb said excitedly, with an unmistakable joy in his eyes.

Hearing this, Seb was silent for a moment, then said, "Then have Ellie book four tickets. Isabella can come with us to Ivory City for New Year's. The tickets and hotel expenses will be a company benefit for you."
"Thank you, Mr. Anderson. That sounds perfect!" Leon laughed on the other end.
"Alright, remember to book the earliest flight to Ivory City!" Seb instructed, then hung up.
"Is Isabella coming with us?" Susan looked at Seb in surprise, but she was actually quite pleased.
