Chapter 1239 What Kind of Wine Do Women Have

Caught by Daryl, Cecilia let out a scream and then burst into continuous laughter.

Because Daryl had started tickling her underarms, Cecilia was so ticklish that she couldn't stop squirming.

"Will you dare to mess with me next time?" Daryl threatened while tickling her.

"No, no, I promise I won't do it again." Cecilia gasped, begging for mercy as she struggled to catch her breath.

Seeing Cecilia beg for mercy, Daryl finally stopped.

She bent over, still catching her breath and giving his chest a push.

Daryl took the opportunity to pull her into his arms, and her hands ended up resting on his firm muscles.

"You're so annoying, I laughed so hard I can't breathe," Cecilia complained softly, but her eyes were full of affection.

"If you dare to mess with me again, it won't be like this." Daryl's eyes were full of threat.

She suddenly pushed him again, this time with great force, and he was completely unprepared.

He stumbled and sat down on the beach!

She couldn't help but bend over with laughter.

Naturally, Daryl was furious.

Cecilia turned and ran, her long skirt flying behind her, and the two of them chased each other.

She stood in the water, bending over to splash water at him, and he was not to be outdone, immediately splashing water back at her. For a while, the two of them splashed water at each other fiercely. Cecilia, being a woman, was naturally not as strong as Daryl, and soon, she was defeated.

"Alright, I give up!" Seeing that she was losing, Cecilia quickly waved her hand to signal surrender.

"You think you can just stop when you say so? I'm not done playing yet!" Daryl continued to splash water at Cecilia, who couldn't defend herself, and soon her hair and dress were half-wet.

Seeing her disheveled appearance, Daryl finally stopped.

Cecilia angrily pushed him again and complained, "Don't you know men should let women win?"

Daryl spread his hands and said righteously, "Why should men let women win? We are equal."

His attitude made Cecilia even angrier. She pushed him with both hands and said, "I'm your girlfriend, aren't I? Shouldn't you let me win?"

Daryl put one hand on his hip and nodded, "If that's the reason, I can accept it."

After saying that, he stepped forward, hugged her, and gave her a big kiss on the cheek!

"What are you doing?" Cecilia covered her cheek with her hand. He kissed her so hard it hurt.

Daryl lowered his head and smiled, "You're my girlfriend, it's only natural for me to kiss you!"

Cecilia smiled with her lips pursed.

Daryl reached out and interlocked his fingers with hers, and they strolled along the soft beach.

In the sunlight, the tall and short figures walked hand in hand on the soft sand, with the blue ocean at their feet and seagulls flying over the sea in the distance. They were both immersed in this beautiful scene.

"I wish we could walk by the beach like this every day." Cecilia leaned her face against his upper arm, her eyes gazing at the distant ocean.

"If you like it, we can stay here for a few more days," Daryl said casually, looking at the distant beach.

Cecilia couldn't help but gaze at him for a few seconds.

"Why are you looking at me like that? I'm telling the truth." Daryl said seriously, looking at her.

"How long can you take off work? Don't try to fool me." Cecilia pouted, not believing him.

Daryl said seriously, "As long as you like, I can stay away from Fields Corporation for a month."

Cecilia couldn't help but laugh, "Won't Fields Corporation fall apart without you?"

"A company of a certain size won't fall apart just because one person is absent."

Although Cecilia knew his words weren't true, she was very happy because he showed that she was important, more important than his work.

"Alright, I don't want to affect your work!" Cecilia said with a smile.

"I know you're the most understanding." Daryl reached out and patted her head.

"I knew you were waiting for me to say that," Cecilia said as she pushed him again and then lifted her skirt and ran away.

Daryl watched her run away, a smile in his eyes, but he said fiercely, "How many times have you pushed me today? It seems I need to teach you a lesson."

After saying that, he pounced on her like a leopard.

In the evening, a few stars hung in the dark sky, and gentle waves lapped at the shore.

They sat on the beach, with a charcoal fire burning in front of them. Daryl kept turning the meat on the grill with tongs and occasionally placed the cooked meat into the small plate in Cecilia's hand.

While he was busy grilling, she was eating with great enjoyment.

"My cooking skills aren't bad, right?" Daryl asked with a smile, seeing she eating with such enjoyment.

"Yeah, it's really good. I didn't expect you to have this skill." Cecilia praised while eating.

"We used to have barbecues often in college," Daryl said, opening a can of beer.

"Give me a beer." Cecilia reached out to him.

"What kind of wine do women have?" Daryl glanced at her.

"How can I enjoy this delicious barbecue without some beer? Come on, give me a can!" Cecilia started to act cute.

"Then you need to show some action." Daryl glanced at her.

Cecilia reluctantly pursed her lips, then suddenly hugged his neck and gave him a big kiss on the cheek!

"Can you be gentler? Don't be so rough!" Daryl touched his cheek, which was now covered in oil, and frowned.

Seeing his disgusted expression, Cecilia couldn't help but laugh, then reached out her greasy hands, covered in oil from eating the barbecue, and stretched them towards Daryl.

Daryl quickly dodged and threw a can of beer at her. "Here, take it, just don't touch me with your greasy hands!"

"Scared of me now?" Cecilia took the beer, opened it, and drank half of it in one go.

"Drink less, if you get drunk, I'm not carrying you back." Daryl reminded.

Cecilia leaned back and lay down on the beach.
