Chapter 941 Igniting His Passion
Just as Isabella was reaching for his leg again, Leon finally snapped. "Did you find the wallet or not?"
"I can't find your pocket, okay?" Isabella shot back, clearly frustrated.
He was holding her, making it impossible for her to reach his pocket. She was sweating from the effort, and he just lost it out of nowhere. Isabella felt totally wronged.
Leon had enough. He put Isabella down, reached into his pocket, and angrily handed her the wallet.
Seeing his grumpy face, Isabella snatched the wallet, pulled out the keys, and opened the front door.
Before she could step inside, she felt herself being lifted off the ground, making her dizzy.
Instinctively, Isabella wrapped her arms around Leon's neck. The next moment, she realized she was back in his arms.
Their eyes met, and Isabella saw a pair of intense, burning eyes.
She couldn't help but think, 'Why are his eyes so intense? It's like they're gonna set me on fire.'
Leon looked down at her and said in a hoarse voice, "You can't search a guy's pockets like that, got it?"
Isabella was stunned.
Thinking back to when she searched his pockets earlier, his face had been dark, and his brows furrowed, like he was holding something back.
Now, his eyes were filled with heat and ambiguity, and she finally got it.
Her face turned bright red.
No wonder he had been so cold to her earlier. She had touched his private area.
Isabella felt it was hard to breathe, her face burning with embarrassment.
"Got it," she whispered, burying her face in Leon's chest.
Isabella's sudden kitten-like behavior warmed Leon's heart. He stepped through the door and closed it with his foot.
Leon gently placed Isabella on the bed. Just as he was about to leave, a pair of arms wrapped around his neck, not letting go.
Looking down at Isabella, who was gazing at him tenderly, Leon frowned and warned, "Isabella, don't tempt me!"
His voice was hoarse. In truth, he didn't want to let her go either, but he had to. He didn't want to take advantage of her.
Hearing this, Isabella frowned but tightened her arms around him and gave him a light kiss on the lips.
The kiss was gentle but instantly ignited Leon's passion.
The next moment, he lowered his head and kissed her lips, preventing her from speaking.
His kiss was hot and wild, and Isabella couldn't handle it. She could only lie on the bed and quietly feel his passion.
The temperature in the small bedroom quickly rose, filling the room with the sound of their breaths.
Isabella's mind went blank, her hands unconsciously gripping the bedsheet.
This was, without a doubt, the most thrilling kiss of her life. A single kiss could make someone lose themselves, make her feel like she was on the brink of collapse. It was a shame she had to wait thirty years to experience this incredible sensation.
Just when Isabella felt Leon was losing control, he suddenly pulled back from the kiss.
Feeling him pull away, Isabella slowly opened her eyes and saw Leon sitting beside her.
Leon looked at her for a moment before awkwardly saying, "Mr. Anderson has something for me to do. I gotta go."
Hearing this, Isabella felt a pang of hurt.
As Leon got up to leave, Isabella reached out and grabbed his sleeve.
Feeling the tug, Leon looked down and saw her small hands clutching his suit sleeve. He frowned and then looked at her face.
At this moment, Isabella didn't care about being shy. She pouted and asked, "What do you mean? Kiss and leave?"
Seeing her flushed face, Leon felt a surge of tenderness. He reached out to touch her head, hugged her shoulders, and took a deep breath. "I don't want to leave either, but I don't want to force you or make you misunderstand me. Do you get it, Isabella?"
Hearing his cautious words, Isabella, with her face pressed against his abdomen, quietly smiled. "I get it. I was too harsh before."
She could feel his restraint earlier; he stopped in time despite in such a passionate moment.
She had been unsure of his intentions, but hearing his explanation, Isabella felt relieved. He was respecting her, and that was what she wanted.
Leon looked up at the ceiling and smiled. "Did I hear that right?"
Isabella looked up at his teasing face and asked, "What do you mean?"
"Nothing, just not used to you being so gentle." Leon laughed.
"Annoying!" Isabella angrily pushed him.
Leon took a step back and smiled. "That's more like you!"
Isabella lowered her head to fix her hair and said, embarrassed, "Am I really that harsh?"
"Very harsh!" Leon bent down and whispered in her ear.
"Didn't you say Seb had something for you to do? Aren't you leaving? Be careful, Seb might fire you," Isabella said fiercely.
Seeing her like this, Leon finally felt at ease.
"Then I'm leaving?" Leon said reluctantly, looking at her.
"Go on." Isabella waved him off without looking at him.
Leon looked at her and stepped out of the bedroom, heading to the front door.
Not seeing him anymore, Isabella felt a sudden sense of loss.
A moment later, Leon suddenly returned to the bedroom door.
Seeing him again, Isabella's heart skipped a beat.
Leon looked at her and said gently, "Get some rest. I'll come back in the evening to cook dinner."
Hearing this, Isabella asked in surprise, "You can cook?"
Seeing her astonished look, Leon laughed. "I make better pasta than the restaurants."
"Bragger!" Isabella rolled her eyes at him, clearly not believing him.
"If you don't believe me, you can try it tonight." Leon said, noticing her skepticism.
