"I'm not as petty as you." Seb opened his eyes and looked at Susan.
"Who's petty?" Susan playfully retorted.
Seb's long arm wrapped around her, pulling her into his embrace.
His embrace was broad, warm, and elastic. Susan held his waist, quietly lying in his arms, feeling the happiness of the moment.
"Is Andrew still trying to undermine you at work?" Susan suddenly asked.
She wanted to hold back but couldn't. She had to remind Seb not to underestimate Andrew.
Seb laughed and said, "Don't worry. In Prosperity Group, I'm like a towering tree, and he's just a small grass. No matter how hard he tries, he can't block my sunlight."
"Such big talk." Susan laughed and pinched Seb's nose.
Although he might be exaggerating, given Seb's many years at Prosperity Group, Andrew shouldn't be able to stir up trouble easily. She was only worried that Carol might support Andrew.
