Chapter 720 Such A Silly Woman

Susan was afraid Seb would take out his anger on Esme, after all, Esme wasn't a bad person.

So, the next moment, Susan quickly said, "Esme didn't try to stir things up at all. In fact, she told me I should just settle for you, for the sake of the kids."

Hearing this, Seb immediately frowned. "Settle? Settle for me? That's rich, coming from her!"

At this moment, Susan remembered Esme's comment about Seb being "useless" and couldn't help but lower her head and smile.

"What are you laughing at?" Seb questioned, staring at Susan.

"She was complaining about you. Said you were all looks and no substance. Generous with money and connections, though, so it's a shame…" Susan chuckled.

Upon hearing this, Seb suddenly realized. "So you knew all along?"

"I found out a few days ago," Susan nodded with a smile.

Hearing this, Seb's large hand grabbed Susan's waist, and he said with a deliberately stern face, "Oh, so you were teasing me just now!"

"So what if I was teasing you? Don't you often mess with me?" Susan said, raising her chin.

"That's different. This calls for punishment." He leaned in and lightly pinched her nose.

"Ouch, that hurts," Susan exclaimed softly.

The next moment, Seb suddenly lowered his head and kissed Susan on the lips!

Susan wanted to push him away, after all, the driver was right in front.

But when she looked up, she realized the driver in the front seat was out of sight.

Susan was taken aback! Upon closer inspection, she found that the car had somehow already arrived at her apartment building, the driver had gotten out, and the two cars carrying bodyguards behind them had also parked by the roadside.

At this moment, Seb released Susan's lips, panting as he stared at her and said, "Why are you so nervous? The driver is very perceptive; he got out of the car without me having to say a word. Looks like I'll have to give him a raise tomorrow!"

Susan, feeling embarrassed, said, "Stop it, okay? So many people are waiting for you, they're definitely watching."

But Seb was relentless, lowering his head to kiss Susan's neck twice before hoarsely saying, "They can't see anything."

Susan continued to struggle, fearfully saying, "Even a fool would know what we're doing in here."

"So what if they know? Even though we're divorced, neither of us has remarried," Seb said as his hands started to wander.

Susan, frightened, quickly grabbed his hands, her face turning pale as she pleaded, "No, it's too embarrassing!"

Seeing the pleading look in Susan's eyes, Seb said, "Then say something nice, and I'll let you go today."

"Seb!" Susan called softly.

"Nope," Seb was very dissatisfied with this address.

"Darling!" Susan said with a smile, touching his handsome face.

"Nope," Seb shook his head in dissatisfaction.

This time, Susan thought hard for a while, then leaned forward to kiss his cheek and called, "Honey!"

"That'll do, barely," Seb finally said, somewhat satisfied.

"Then I'm going upstairs," Susan said, eager to get out of the car.

Just as Susan's hand touched the door handle, her waist was once again encircled by Seb from behind!

"What should I do? I can't bear to let you go," Seb's face pressed against Susan's cheek.

His cheek was warm, and it felt very comfortable against her own. He couldn't bear to let her go, and she couldn't bear to leave him either.

Susan's hand covered his large hands on her waist, her eyes flashing. She thought, 'If he can't bear to part, why doesn't he come upstairs?' If he said he wanted to stay the night, she certainly wouldn't refuse.

Perhaps Seb had read her mind, as he then smiled and said, "I can't come up tonight. Starting tonight, I need to get into battle mode, and you'll definitely distract me."

His fingers stroked her smooth hair, his voice tender and intoxicating.

"You make it sound like I'm the one who delays your work," Susan said with a hint of reproach, but her face was smiling.

Hearing this, Seb laughed and said, "Of course, ever since I had you, I've been immune to any other woman. No matter how alluring they are, I have no desire."

Hearing this, Susan became interested. She turned around, wrapped her arms around his neck, and coyly asked, "Do you really have no thoughts about those women?"

Susan's eyes were filled with doubt. She knew he was a normal man, and those women were so attractive that even she, as a woman, found them tempting. She couldn't believe he had no thoughts at all.

At this moment, Seb rolled his eyes. "Actually, those models and celebrities are prettier and have better figures than you."

Hearing this, Susan's face immediately darkened.

Before Susan could get angry, Seb continued, "But I still restrained myself because I know the one I love is you. I can't betray you! Even though I can't give you marriage right now, I can give you all my love."

Suddenly, Seb's teasing turned into a heartfelt confession, and Susan was momentarily stunned.

Susan stared blankly at Seb in front of her. How lucky she was to have met, known, and loved him, and he was so deeply in love with her. At this moment, Susan felt overwhelmed with happiness. Although she was now a woman without a formal status, she could fully have his love.

'Was this what it meant to be content with what you have?' Susan couldn't help but feel a tinge of melancholy, but mostly she felt gratified.

Seb, not getting a response from Susan for a long time, frowned and grabbed her shoulders, asking, "Did you hear what I said?"

"Yes, I heard," Susan nodded blankly.

"And?"

"And… what am I supposed to say to that?" She wasn't used to these heartfelt declarations.

"How did I fall in love with such a silly woman?" Seb cursed in frustration.

At this moment, Susan suddenly leaned forward, wrapped her arms around Seb, and kissed him passionately and assertively on the lips!

Seb was taken aback. When had she ever been so proactive, so dominant, and so rough?
