Chapter 180 Teach Her a Lesson
Susan stormed upstairs, annoyed. She unlocked her door and quickly stepped inside, trying to shut it behind her.
But Seb's foot was already in the way. Seeing him force his way in, Susan leaned hard against the door, trying to push him out.
She underestimated his strength. With a shove, Seb opened the door, making Susan stumble back.
"Get out! If you don't leave, I'll scream!" Susan shouted, mustering her courage.
Seb closed the door, plunging the room into darkness. Susan felt a twinge of fear and stepped back.
"You're not welcome here! Leave now!" Susan's voice was desperate.
Seb ignored her.
He lunged at her. Susan turned and ran deeper into the house, screaming, "Help!"
Seb's large hand grabbed her arm from behind, and his other hand covered her mouth, silencing her.
Moonlight streamed in, illuminating Seb's face. Susan saw his disheveled hair, stubbled jaw, and gaunt appearance. His white shirt added to his melancholic look.
Seeing him like this, Susan felt a pang in her heart.
What happened to Seb? Why wasn't he his usual confident self? Was he not doing well with Cynthia?
Why did he come to her today?
Seb's annoyed expression gave Susan a bad feeling.
With his hand over her mouth, Susan tried to make a sound.
Seb grabbed her nape with one hand and covered her mouth with the other, his voice low and resentful. "Living so freely here, with George coming to see you. What kind of woman are you to make so many men go crazy for you?"
Susan saw the veins bulging on Seb's forehead. She knew he might lose control.
She struggled, but Seb's grip was firm.
"What, you can be all lovey-dovey with George, but you can't stand me touching you?" Seb's anger grew.
Susan got angry at his words. She hit his chest and kicked his legs with all her might.
Seb remained unmoved, his eyes growing darker.
When Susan had no strength left and was panting, Seb pushed her down.
Susan's heart raced. What was Seb going to do?
Even a fool would know. Realizing this, Susan tried to get up and run.
But it was too late. Seb lunged and pinned her down.
"What are you doing? Let go of me!" Susan struggled.
Seb's large hands pinned her down. Susan, wearing a dress, felt mortified and furious.
"Seb, you bastard, let go of me!" she cried, on the verge of breaking down.
She couldn't stand being treated like this. Just when she had healed, Seb showed up again, wanting to have sex with her. What did he take her for?
Helpless, Susan's hands were pinned beside her head. She could only watch as Seb did whatever he wanted.
"Seb, you're a bastard! You'll die a horrible death! I hate you, I hate you forever," she shouted until her voice was hoarse. Eventually, she gave up, her limbs going limp, tears streaming down her cheeks.
Seb didn't linger and quickly withdrew.
Susan closed her eyes to avoid seeing him and curled up on the bed, sobbing softly.
She didn't know what Seb was doing, but after a while, she heard his footsteps receding and the front door closing.
Once sure he was gone, Susan opened her tear-filled eyes, looking sorrowful in the moonlight.
She didn't know why Seb came to Lindell Harbor, but it was clear he only wanted to humiliate her.
Seb hadn't even unbuttoned his shirt or touched her dress. He hadn't kissed her.
Was he trying to humiliate her to the max? Did he hate her that much?
She didn't owe him anything. Why couldn't he leave her alone?
Was it because she had been in contact with George? Did Seb come to teach her a lesson?
The Seb she knew wasn't so narrow-minded. What did he want?
Susan thought about calling the police but knew Seb had power. Without evidence, it would be useless and might ruin her reputation.
After weighing it over and over, she gave up the idea of calling the police.
She hated Seb and hated herself for always being helpless against him.
What should she do now?
She didn't know.
She could only look at the dark night outside, feeling desolate.
The night was really dark and cold.
In the middle of the night, Susan forced herself to shower, scrubbing away Seb's scent.
She almost scrubbed her skin raw. In the end, she collapsed in the bathroom, sitting on the toilet, tears streaming down her face.
