Under Susan's persistent questioning, Hayden finally said, "Mommy, I feel that Miss Thorne isn't genuinely nice to us."
"What do you mean?" Susan asked Hayden, puzzled.
"She always asks me about Daddy. Spring's too little to tell her anything." Hayden replied.
"What does Miss Thorne ask you about Daddy?" Susan frowned and continued to ask.
"She asks about Daddy's company, his likes, and his relationship with you," Hayden said.
Hearing this, Susan tightly furrowed.
Cecilia was young, beautiful, and talented, Susan used to think Cecilia was just arrogant, which was why she was cold and hostile towards her. But now, hearing Hayden's words, Susan seemed to understand a bit. Could it be that Cecilia had feelings for Seb?
The next moment, Hayden anxiously grabbed Susan's clothes and asked, "Mommy, I accidentally told Miss Thorne about your divorce with Daddy. Do you think I talked too much?"

Susan took Hayden's hand and returned to the dining room. Seeing that Seb hadn't come back yet, she took out her phone and made a call.
The phone rang many times, but no one answered.
Susan couldn't help but frown. Why wasn't he answering the phone? How could it take so long to drive Cecilia home? Could something have happened?
At this time, Susan quickly said to Mary, "Mary, call Miss Thorne and ask if Seb has dropped her off and if he has come back."
"Okay." Mary quickly responded and went to get the landline to make the call.
But a few minutes later, Mary frowned and said to Susan, "Ms. Wilson, Miss Thorne is not answering the phone."

Seb and Cecilia should be together. Why weren't they answering the phone? Did something happen, or did Seb and Cecilia go somewhere else?

In the evening, while Susan was sitting on the sofa watching cartoons with Hayden and Spring, footsteps were heard in the foyer.
Actually, how could Susan focus on the cartoons? Her eyes were on the TV screen, but her mind was elsewhere.
When Seb walked in, Spring quickly ran over.
Spring hugged Seb's leg and looked up, asking, "Daddy, why are you back so late? Did you drop Miss Thorne off?"

"Who knows? By now, he could have driven her all the way to Cobblestone City."

"I want to watch cartoons." Hayden's eyes remained on the TV screen.
Seeing this, Seb bent down, picked up Spring, walked to the sofa, and placed her in front of Hayden, saying, "Spring, be good, sit here and watch cartoons with Hayden."
